Subspace Holotransceiver?

There is an unwritten article on this page called Subspace Holotransceiver. Is that canon? Because I don't recall any mention of it in the novels that I have. If it is, then forget this message but I just thought I should mention it. Darth Batrus 14:34, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

Naming

How exactly would this be referred to? The Maw? The Maw Cluster? Maw Cluster? -- Riffsyphon1024 10:43, 12 Mar 2005 (GMT)

Guy Named Maw too

A Dark Jedi named Maw also supposedly exists in the SW Universe; he appears in Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II as an opponent to the main character Kyle Katarn. I think this article needs a disambiguation page. -- Qrc

  • Hmm. Then the cluster will remain as The Maw or the Maw Cluster if someone feels that is better suited for it and then the person as Maw (character). The disambiguation will be Maw. -- Riffsyphon1024 23:05, 4 Apr 2005 (EDT)

NewvJedi Order Maw

Something needs to be added about The Maw's importance as a Jedi safehouse. This is mentioned in Rebel Dream when Han and Leia take Ben Skywalker and a few other Jedi and kids to The Maw. I might get around to writing it... eventually.

creation

i thought the maw was just a convient cluster of black holes but here it says it was made so im wondering: how do you make a black hole? let alone a cluster? Ugluk 01:21, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

Replicate natural phenomena which cause natural black holes I suppose. 64.180.93.200 01:11, 1 April 2009 (UTC)

Building of the Death Star II

I have deleted the section of the article that says that the second Death Star was built there see Talk:Death Star II for my reasons.Drol revan 15:19, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

Picture?

Dunno if anyone wants to go to the effort of capturing a screen, but in X-wing Alliance there's a pretty nice background showing the Maw's black holes in the final family mission that takes place in the Kessel system Lalala la 22:54, 9 August 2007 (UTC)

Behind the scenes or controversy section needed

There is a conflict as to the origins of the Death Star program described in the "Jedi Academy Trilogy" as compared to Episode 2 and Episode 3. It should be noted the two sources do not agree. Frank V Bonura

Size?

exacltly how big is the Maw?--Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin 17:39, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

Category: Xim's Empire

Any evidence that this category applies? If not, it should be removed. C1k3 00:22, 13 March 2009 (UTC)

Navigation

I'm wondering, could a strong Jedi like Yoda or Luke using all of their Force energy plus a hyperdrive set to maximum power escape the event horizon of one of those black holes?

Galacatic coordinates

I notice that some planets have galactic coordinates listed, whereas it is only listed in some systems. I feel that geographical regions such as the Maw Cluster should have their galactic coordinates listed, along with systems, and along with planets. Thoughts? 199.187.206.38 21:26, January 27, 2013 (UTC)

  • This could be a possibility. My suggestion: log in with an account and start a Senate Hall thread on the matter (though you may need to make 50 edits before you're allowed to post). -- Riffsyphon1024 22:07, January 27, 2013 (UTC)
