Same thing as wrist gauntlets
I'm pretty sure Mandalorian vambrace is just a fancy term for the traditional wrist gauntlets we've previously seen Mandos wear. Visually, they're nearly visually identical and we've previously seen that portable shield used by a Death Watch trooper in "The Lawless." As such, I'm of the opinion that the gauntlet section from our Mandalorian armor page should be merged into this one, along with the appearances of the gauntlets and sources regarding it. "Trials of the Darksaber" was just the first time we were given a formal name for the item. - AV-6R7Crew Pit 00:11, January 24, 2017 (UTC)
- Agreed. Like you said, we know that Sabine's vambraces have a small portable shield just like the Mandos in TCW thanks to the S3 mid-season trailer and "Trials of the Darksaber" trivia gallery. Thee's also the fact that both Sabine and the Death Watch troopers' right vambrace has a built-in blaster. I believe the gauntlet info on Mandalorian armor should be moved here as well. Cevan

- There could probably even be a separate Legends article titled "wrist gauntlets" if there was no other name for them. If these are pretty much the same thing all Mandalorians wear, then their first canon appearance would be Return of the Jedi or Empire, right? Or I guess A New Hope since Boba Fett's in there somewhere. Steed (talk) 01:36, January 24, 2017 (UTC)
Appearances in movies and other material
I'm adding Episodes II, IV, V and VI in the Appearaces section, because... we actually have seen them in the Jango and Boba armor, and even the Behind the scenes section states that "technically first appeared with Boba Fett in The Empire Strikes Back", so it's kinda messed up that later the page says that TCW episode A Friend in Need was the vambrace's first appearance. Please, add the comics and novels appearances too. --HERRERO BOSS (talk) 20:21, December 9, 2017 (UTC)
