Non canon - Encounter with Lord Starkiller

In the Ultimate Sith edition of the Force Unleashed, Luke confronted the Dark Lord Starkiller on the planet Hoth. Starkiller was pleased to meet the apprentice, announcing "At last we meet, son of Vader." The first encounter ended with a defeat for the young Jedi, who was overwhelmed by Lord Starkiller's lighting and sheer ferocity. Before fleeing, Luke pulled a panel away from the wall, allowing some native Wanpas to enter the room, and fled. The Dark Lord killed the Wampus, and chased after Skywalker into the main hanger, where the Millenium Falcon was docked. Another skirmish ensued, where Lord Starkiller threw Luke into a scaffold, disarming him.

Starkiller then told Luke "Now I will destroy you, as I destroyed your father." This enraged Luke, causing him to fall to the Dark Side. Newly invivrogated, Luke attacked Lord Starkiller, but despite being stronger, Luke was still not powerful enough to defeat the Dark Lord. As the battle wound to a close, Starkiller threw Luke into the path of a launching Snowspeeder, and prepared to kill him. As Starkiller was about to bring his blade down on the fallen Jedi, the Millenium Falcon began to leave. Starkiller grabbed the falcon with the Force, and said to Luke "Join me, only then will you be powerful enough to save your friends". Luke, fully engrossed into the Dark Side, blasted Starkiller with lightning, allowing the Falcon time to escape. Starkiller easily repelled this attack, and then referred to Luke as his "apprentice"

Palpatine as Sith Master

Is this refering to the short time in ROTJ or a non-canon story, I am very confused. If it is ROTJ, Sidous was just trying to get Luke to turn to the Darkside. T-888 03:30, January 11, 2010 (UTC)

New picture.

Is anyone able to load pictures to this page? If so I was wondering if we could somehow add the image of Luke from the Wizards of the Coast book. "The Jedi Academy Training Manual." The cover art and image of Luke and Mara is pretty swell.

Sometimes these pictures confuse me. His right hand is sometimes covered with a glove. Sometimes it isn't. Is there any source to indicate if Luke kept having a glove on his right hand up to Fate of the Jedi period (his picture in one of the books has him with a glove) or if he got his artificial skin on his right hand fixed. Well in the Legacy of the Force series. Luke gets his artificial hand severed again by Lumiya, and had to get a new one so I'm sure he got some new artificial skin along with it. But as to whether he still wears the glove or not I'm not sure. I like to still think he does because everytime I imagine Luke I see the glove on his hand. the images of him with a glove then without a glove confuse me too. jedi_master425
I think after Lumiya he regularly wears the glove. Most pictures of post Legacy of the Force has me seeing him with a glove on his right hand (sometimes BOTH hands). The New Jedi Order Luke Skywalker action figure (the Evolutions:Jedi Legacy once) has Luke with a repaired prosthetic right hand so probably Luke did repair his hand post-ROTJ but wears a glove nevertheless. Personally, I think Luke kept using the glove. He had the time to have his artificial skin repaired in ROTJ but did not do it. Probably because his hand was a reminder of his failure in Empire Strikes Back. Questorminator 04:46, June 19, 2010 (UTC)

last name

if he was adopted by owen and beru lars from an extremely young age, then why does he keep the last name skywalker? wouldnt he be called luke lars? unless the starwars universe's way of adopting works differently to ours... but still... Tomtom3000 20:27, April 19, 2010 (UTC)

There's nothing to indicate that Luke was adopted by the Lars family. It's just as likely they just raised him as their nephew. It happens in real life all the time. leandar 20:29, April 19, 2010 (UTC)
  • I think Leia was given the Organa name partly due to Bail's high-profile status as a senator. It probably would have raised some suspicion if any Imperial officials noticed he had a daughter with the name "Skywalker." Owen and Beru probably figured they wouldn't have to worry about that issue with Luke on Tatooine simply because of its remote and out of the way location. Darth Nordeck 00:55, June 23, 2010 (UTC)
  • Luke was raised as a nephew to Owen and Beru. Proof? He refers to them as Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru. He was told about his real father, and knew that his father's name was Skywalker. Therefore, his must be also. DarthBob14 20:29, April 19, 2010 (UTC)

Editing the "Powers and Abilities" section

Okay, so this is how it goes. I'm not very fond of this section as it looks now. Therefore, I've made an altered and expanded version which you can see below. I hope to make this section more coherent and flowing than it is now. BUT, since english isn't my native tongue, I thought I'd just put it here first for approval, and for members to expand and change for the better, for admittedly, even though this version is better than the one we have now, it can be better still. 

===Powers and abilities===

Though he received little formal training, and the training he did receive took place well into his adulthood, Luke Skywalker became a most wise and powerful Jedi Master, even indirectly serving as the [[Chosen One/Legends|Chosen One]] by bringing Darth Vader to the [[Light side of the Force/Legends|light]]. Luke had the Force potential to become what his father was supposed to become—the Force potential of the Chosen One,<ref name="ESBDC">''Star Wars: Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back'' Director's Commentary</ref> a potential far greater even than [[Emperor/Legends|Emperor]] [[Palpatine/Legends|Palpatines]].<ref name="ESBDC" /> By many considered to be the most powerful Jedi in history, Luke was a master of both Force and lightsaber-oriented combat.

====Lightsaber prowess====
Luke Skywalker, the most skilled lightsaber duelist of his time, was mostly self learned when it came to lightsaber combat. Luke Skywalker's use of his most primary form, [[Form V: Shien / Djem So|Form V]], is probably as much instinctive as trained. On Bespin, Luke revealed that he was an extraordinarily gifted duelist after only one brief session with Obi-Wan Kenobi and a short time of study with Yoda. After that fateful duel, Luke studied some lightsaber skills from Kenobi's journal and greatly advanced his abilities. Without a master, it was Luke's unparalleled aptitude which contributed in the incredible advancement of his skills. Onboard the second Death Star, Luke mirrored Darth Vader's own [[Form V/Legends|Form V]] technique and responded with his own furious demonstration of it's raw power. Observing swordsmen, such as Palpatine, were astonished to see such instantaneous learning in a lightsaber duel. Finally, Luke was able to duel Vader on an even footing, and defeated the experienced Dark Lord.

However, Luke's particular form of lightsaber combat may in the end be something entirely new, with traces of [[Form III: Soresu|Form III]], [[Form IV: Ataru|Form IV]] and Form V mixed together with his own techniques. It is doubtful that Kenobi and Yoda had time to actually teach him the finer points of the combat Forms, but just like most other things about being a Jedi Knight, Luke probably had to reinvent it for himself. Eventully, Luke had to figure out whole new fighting styles to replace the ones lost during the [[Great Jedi Purge/Legends|Great Jedi Purge]]. Many years later, the [[Jensaarai/Legends|Jensaarai]] helped Luke Skywalker and his [[New Jedi Order]] by passing on valuable knowledge of the lightsaber forms of the [[Old Jedi Order]]. Luke also managed to master a technique known as the [[strong style]], a form of lightsaber combat used by the New Jedi Order. It should be noted that Luke advanced more quickly than any other known Jedi before him in lightsaber combat, being as powerful as Vader after receiving only about a year of training.<ref name="Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy" /><ref name="Star Wars: Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast" />

Luke's abilities with a lightsaber and the Force allowed him to fight his way through countless Yuuzhan Vong warriors in the [[Sacred Precinct]]. After defeating numerous Yuuzhan Vong warriors in the [[Shimrra's Citadel|Citadel]] Luke defeated more than five [[Slayers]]; while Kyp Durron, one of the most powerful Jedi of his time, could not best even the Slayers who were exposed to [[Alpha Red (pathogen)|Alpha Red]]. Afterward, Luke slew [[Supreme Overlord]] [[Shimrra Jamaane]], who was stated to be the best warrior of the Yuuzhan Vong, despite having just been injured by the poison of the [[Scepter of Power]].

Arguably, Luke's most considerable feat of lightsaber combat was to defeat the reborn [[Galactic Emperor/Legends|Emperor]] [[Palpatine/Legends|Palpatine]] in a [[Lightsaber duel/Legends|lightsaber duel]], slicing off his hand with ''[[Cho mai/Legends|cho mai]]''. It should be noted that Palpatine was one of the best swordsmen in lightsaber history, and even [[Yoda/Legends|Yoda]], Luke's own master, was unable to defeat him. Leia, who was watching the fight, could hardly see the movements of Luke and the Emperor, but she sensed waves of power generating from them—dark from the Emperor, and light from Luke. With Leia [[Force harmony|assisting]] her brother through the Force, Luke managed to throw down the Dark Lord, eventually leading to his ultimate demise.<ref name="Star Wars: Dark Empire (audio)" /> Palpatine, also known by his Sith alias [[Darth Sidious]], and Darth Vader were not the only [[Dark Lords of the Sith]] Luke Skywalker managed to defeat throughout his life. He also managed to defeat Darth Vader's apprentices and successors, [[Lumiya]] and [[Flint]], as well as his own nephew [[Jacen Solo]], who by that time had taken the name [[Darth Caedus]].

Luke learned to master many forms and techniques of lightsaber combat, including [[Shii-Cho]], [[Soresu]], [[Ataru]], [[Djem So]] and the [[strong style|strong]] and [[medium style]]s of lightsaber combat. In addition, he was also skilled in the rare technique of [[tràkata]]. Luke also showed, on several occasions, to be a most skilled [[Jar'Kai/Legends|Jar'Kai]] user, managing to defeat both [[Supreme Overlord]] [[Shimrra]] and the [[Dark Lady of the Sith]] [[Lumiya]], using dual lightsabers.

====Force powers====
Luke was a master of the Force and, as with his lightsaber skills, his skills were mostly self learned and came to him instinctively. As when, during the [[Battle of Yavin/Legends|Battle of Yavin]], Luke managed to destroy the [[DS-1 Orbital Battle Station/Legends|first Death Star]] by letting [[The Force/Legends|the Force]] tell him when to fire his proton torpedoes, while traveling at very high speeds, and not knowing the distance to the port, and having no previous knowledge of proton torpedoes and their abilities. One should note that Luke only had little training with the Force at this time.<ref name="Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope" />

Without any guidance except a handbook left by [[Obi-Wan Kenobi/Legends|Obi-Wan Kenobi]], Luke Skywalker successfully built his first lightsaber, merely three years after he was first introduced to the Force, and undergoing formal training for less than a year. Only a short time after being given a lightsaber by Obi-Wan, Luke was able to instinctively block several blaster bolts fired in rapid succession by a remote, despite his lack of prolonged formal training.<ref name="Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope" />

Luke was an immensely powerful [[telekinetic]], able to move heavy objects through the Force with ease. Instances showing his telekinetic skills include when Luke safely landed himself, [[Isolder]], and Isolder's fighter from a free fall drop from orbit with the Force.<ref name="The Courtship of Princess Leia" /> During the [[Battle of Dathomir/Legends|Battle of Dathomir]], Luke also managed to fly the ''[[Millennium Falcon/Legends|Millennium Falcon]]'' single-handedly using only the Force, manipulating its controls and operating it with a skill that not even a full crew could manage.<ref name="The Courtship of Princess Leia" /> Luke was able to knock down a crippled [[AT-AT]] by pressing against it with the Force; he also absorbed the initial cannon blasts from the AT-AT, before deflecting the rest with his lightsaber.<ref name="Dark Empire" /><ref name="Star Wars: Dark Empire (audio)" /> He also showed great telekinetic powers when, during the [[Black Fleet Crisis]], Luke managed to use the Force to rebuild Darth Vader's old fortress on Coruscant<ref name="Before the Storm" /> and then crush it to rubble, shattering the building piece by piece and throwing it into the oceans of Coruscant.<ref name="Tyrant's Test" /> Luke could also [[saber throw|throw]] his lightsaber great lenghts towards his enemies and even learned to [[Force Flight|fly]] using only the Force.

During the [[Battle of Dantooine (Yuuzhan Vong War)|Battle of Dantooine]] of the [[Yuuzhan Vong War]], Luke showed great control of the Force by trickering a vehicle's dovin basals into colliding its own [[Black hole/Legends|black hole]] against itself by using the Force to hold the void against the pull of the dovin basals; then reversing the direction of his own pull, adding it to the pull of the dovin basals, so that the void would collide against the spine of the vehicle.<ref name="Dark Tide I: Onslaught" />

Luke was also a particularly skilled [[Force healing/Legends|Force healer]], as demonstrated when he, in the battle between the [[Singing Mountain Clan]] and the [[Nightsisters/Legends|Nightsisters]], became almost fatally wounded by a Force attack by [[Gethzerion]] and a deep fall, but managed to regenerate in the span of mere hours.<ref name="The Courtship of Princess Leia" /> Just on the trip back to [[Hapes/Legends|Hapes]] after the [[Duel in Fellowship Plaza|duel]] with Lumiya and [[Alema Rar]], Luke used a [[Jedi healing trance]] to heal almost all of the damage he suffered in the duel.<ref name="Tempest" />

In addition to being a powerful telekinetic, Skywalker was also a naturally talented [[telepath]]. During the [[Death Seed Plague]], Luke used the Force to communicate with the sentient crystals [[Tsil]]s. It is important to remember that the more dissimilar the type of mind, the more difficult it is to communicate with via the Force.<ref name="Planet of Twilight" /> Toward the end of the [[Swarm War]], Luke used the Force to call all the Jedi across the entire [[the galaxy/Legends|galaxy]] to [[Ossus/Legends|Ossus]] to make the announcement of him taking on the role as [[Grand Master/Legends|Grand Master]] of the Jedi Order, and to issue his views about the role of the Order to his Jedi.<ref name="Dark Nest III: The Swarm War" /> During the ''[[Eye of Palpatine]]'' incident, Luke subconsciously used his Force powers to overcome a particularly vicious form of brainwashing.<ref name="Children of the Jedi" />

Luke was also an expert in [[Jedi mind trick]]s. Apart from the more [[Force persuasion|simple]] version of the power, Luke, while searching for the kidnapped Solo children, used the Force to create an [[Force illusion|illusion]] over his face in order to disguise his identity.<ref name="The Crystal Star" />After the [[Black Fleet Crisis]], with newfound knowledge from the [[White Current/Legends|White Current]], Luke removed the [[Teljkon Vagabond]] from view using the Force; however he admitted that he did not know how long it would last.<ref name="Tyrant's Test" />After the Black Fleet Crisis, Luke taught the combined White Current/the Force illusion skill to his more experienced students, which would help shield the entire moon Yavin 4 from intruders during the [[Yuuzhan Vong War]]. During the early days of the [[Dark Nest Crisis]], Luke used the Force to generate a lifelike copy of the ''[[Jade Shadow]]'' to fool the attacking [[dartship]]s. This usage of the Force was so extreme, Luke burnt out and his face was temporarily sunken and shriveled like Palpatine's.<ref name="Dark Nest I: The Joiner King" /> A year later Luke applied the same trick on the ''[[DR919a]]'', by then Luke already mastered the technique and would no longer burn out.<ref name="Dark Nest II: The Unseen Queen" />Right before the Battle of Fondor, Luke made Caedus "see" a fleet of ships, causing him to panic in front of his navy. Luke directed it right at Caedus in general, to show him what he can do and to scare Caedus into talking with Luke.<ref name="Revelation">''[[Revelation]]''</ref> During the Battle of Kashyyyk, Luke shut his Force presence down after being fired upon by Jaina to make it seem like he had died. Later while Ben was in the Embrace of Pain, Jacen gave Ben back his ability to sense the Force temporarily and Ben felt the life force of his father and realized Luke was shutting himself down to everyone except Ben, something no other Jedi has been able to do.<ref name="Inferno" />

Despite being a servant of the [[Light side of the Force/Legends|light side of the Force]], Luke would not hesitate to use [[dark side]] [[Force powers|powers]] when he felt necessary. [[Force choke]] is one such power, which Luke Skywalker used both used against [[Gamorrean/Legends|Gamorrean]]  guards in the process of gaining entrance to [[Jabba's Palace/Legends|Jabba's Palace]] as well as on one of the [[Nightsisters/Legends|Nightsisters]]. Another example would be a variant of [[Force lightning/Legends|Force lightning]] called [[Electric Judgment]], which he used in the chamber of [[Shimrra Jamaane]]. This technique had been described to look like "green sparks," which instantly killed the [[Slayers|Slayer]].

Luke is also one of the few individuals known the have achieved "[[Oneness]]" with the Force. During the [[Second Battle of Coruscant (Yuuzhan Vong War)|Battle of Yuuzhan'tar]] Luke was described as a maelstrom of Force energy, against which there was no shelter. So calm and focused was he that his actions were not interrupted by any thought. Luke merged with the Force to such a degree that the Jedi Master did not seem to be there, physically or as an individual personality. Luke's control over his lightsaber blade was so great that he was said to might as well have been wielding ten, or twenty lightsabers against the Vong.<ref name="The Unifying Force" /> The Solo twins were astounded seeing their uncle in such a state. While battling [[UnuThul]], Luke also was able to resist the combined Force power of [[the Colony]] and triumph. When UnuThul attempted to Force Push the Grand Master, Luke rooted himself in the heart of the Force so strongly that it was said that he had become the very essence of the immovable object, and that not even the black hole at the center of the galaxy could move him.<ref name="Dark Nest III: The Swarm War" />

During his travels across the galaxy he learned many Force powers many would consider exotic or unnatural. Luke destroyed a group of hot-wired battle droids just by waving his hand, subtly displacing their master servos and causing the self-destruction of the group of droids.<ref name="Dark Empire" /><ref name="Star Wars: Dark Empire (audio)" /> This Force power was first manifested by [[Jedi Master/Legends|Jedi Master]] [[Arca Jeth]] during the [[Great Droid Revolution]]. Even then, with proper instruction, it was a difficult power to master. However, this power apparently came naturally to Luke. During the time when he was re-creating the Jedi Order and was searching for potential candidates, he walked on lava while still throbbing with the Force after defeating a [[Fireworm]] living in the lava just moments before. Luke's performance impressed Gantoris so much that he decided to become Luke's apprentice.<ref name="Jedi Search" /> In [[43.5 ABY]], after spending time with the [[Aing-Tii/Legends|Aing-Tii]] Luke was taught the [[Fold space]] ability which allowed him to teleport objects.

During the [[Kueller]] crisis, Luke prepared himself for death in such a way that he would become a Force ghost. Upon death, Luke was able to retain his consciousness in the [[Netherworld of the Force/Legends|Netherworld of the Force]], and could henceforth manifest himself in [[Force ghost|spirit form]].

====Other abilities====
Luke applied the very opposite of [[Dun Möch/Legends|Dun Möch]] on board the [[Death Star II/Legends|second Death Star]] by infusing love into Darth Vader's heart through spoken words. The young Jedi was successful—Anakin Skywalker ultimately redeemed himself and brought balance to the Force.

Like his father, Luke was an expert pilot, being the person who was responsible for destroying the first Death Star and managing to evade [[Anakin Skywalker/Legends|Darth Vader]] himself (albeit with help from Han Solo). He also landed a crashing Imperial Star Destroyer on Coruscant with almost no loss of life, by allowing the Force to guide him at the [[Liberator (Imperial I-class)|Liberator]]'s controls, mirroring a similar achievement by his father toward the end of the [[Clone Wars/Legends|Clone Wars]].<ref name="Dark Empire" /><ref name="Star Wars: Dark Empire (audio)">[[Dark Empire (audio)|''Dark Empire'' audio drama]]</ref><ref name="Dark Empire Sourcebook">''[[Dark Empire Sourcebook]]''</ref>

  • I agree with that, save the Other Abilities section. I just got done reading The Life and Legend of Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Old Ben says Luke is "as good as his father at fixing things" while watching Luke repair Threepio in his hut. This isn't something that gets spotlighted often if at all, but I think Ben would know what he's talking about, being Anakin's closest friend for over a decade and all. Thoughts on adding this? I just took TLaLoOWK back to the library, so I can't provide a page reference- hoping someone who owns the book can find the exact quote to provide the reference for the article. There is no question that Luke Skywalker is powerful. But how powerful? I think, with all of the emphasis placed by George Lucas on Anakin after the Prequel Trilogy, he has forgotten to expound on the powers of Luke Skywalker beyond the films except perhaps a few statements such us him rebuilding the Jedi Order. There is a wealth of information in the EU but a lot of information in that universe can be retconned (which is the case when the prequel trilogy came up, lots of retcons were made to newly made films to the already established EU). Luke Skywalker as the son of Anakin, is immensely poweful with the Force no small thanks to his father's mystic origins. That much is evident in the films. But in the EU, his powers are somewhat inconsistent: extremely powerful in one series, somewhat pathetic in the next. He was supposed to have the same Force potential of Anakin Skywalker according to George Lucas (therefore making that fact G-Canon) but books like in the New Jedi Order series Rebel Dream, it was even faintly "suggested" that Jedi Master Kyp Durron had more pure power than him. I think to determine the extent of Luke Skywalker's power, we must first base on what we see of him during the OT. He was half-trained, but he was powerful enough to be on par with most Jedi if he can defeat Darth Vader, the man who was the hammer in the Emperor's anvil called The Great Jedi Purge.   • It seems mostly good. But isn't Luke reffered to as Skywalker throughout most of the entry? Also I wouldn't quite class it as one of his powers that he convinced Vader to repent- certainly it was geat, but to class it as power seems like he Force convinced him or something. Sometimes it seems a little redundant but I'm not sure how to say it better. also the line about him having the Force potential of the Chosen one seems clumsy. And you seem to hint that Luke was willing to turn to the Dark Side whenever it suited him, which I'm sure is not the case, although I haven't read the sources. The end does not justify the means, and Luke knows it. By the way if you are keeping the redeeming Anakin as one of his powers, by all means keep the wording, 'Anakin Skywalker ultimately redeemed himself'. New main image!

Hey all. There's been an attempt (maybe two?) recently to change the main image of this article. While I don't agree that [[:File:LukeSkywalkerRe.jpg|this is the best choice]], I do agree that the current main image, on account of the huge missing chunk of Luke's head, isn't the best choice either. It works in that it's a live-action shot depicting Luke as a Jedi Knight, with a wise and knowing look on his face. So I have some other choices for ya!

Option 2) isn't the best quality, but it looks fine when shrunk to infobox size. And we could find a better quality version of it with a DVD screencapture.

Option 3) is cool too. The stormtrooper in the background might be a bit distracting.

    I'm usually very anti-extreme close-up and anti-stare-into-the-camera-until-I'm-uncomfortabe, but I'm not a major fan of either of the other options. Victory over Palpatine

I'd really like to avoid an edit-war over this, but in the Powers and Abilities section, someone keeps crediting Luke's win over Palpatine in the lightsaber duel in Dark Empire to Leia lending him aid in the Force. However, the Dark Empire audio drama- which is being used to assert this position- is very specific on the point that Leia does not begin to join her Force power with Luke's until after Palpatine is already defeated in the duel itself, when Luke demands Palpatine surrender and Palpy responds by whipping up a Force Storm. It's only then that Luke and Leia join Force strength to cut Palpatine off from the Force, and only to make him lose control of his Force Storm. Not to give Luke an edge over Palpatine in the duel. The audio drama is very specific on this point. Now, I'm going to correct this error, and I really hope that it won't be reintroduced again. Dewback rancher 21:19, October 12, 2010 (UTC)

In Revelation when Luke is projecting the imaginary fleet at Caedus didnt also mention that he used the force to assault his stealth x? I maybe mistaken its been a little while since I've read it. And if he did shouldn't it be mentioned in his powers and abilities section? jedi_master425 October 14, 2010

Besides, the section is a mess right now and should really be cleaned up and given a sense of continuity before more additions are made. Far too powerful

I know Luke has the Force potential of the Chosen One but even so I feel that he's far too powerful. In the Original Trilogy he had virtually no training and yet he was able to hold is own against Darth Vader, who had killed hundreds of properly trained Jedi. That is just ridiculous. I really think that Luke needs another Master. Rahm Kota and Rachi Sitra were alive in the rebellion era so either of them could be his teacher. I really hope George Lucas is considering the fact that Luke becomes stupidly powerful without a Master in a far too short time. His own father, who was the real Chosen One, didn't become that powerful so quickly and he did have a Master. Also I think he's overly powerful because he defeated Palpatine, who killed three Jedi Council members,who were properly trained, in less than twenty seconds. Despite there being confirmation to the contrary, I still think that Leia was helping him through the Force (though I'm not stupid enough to put that in the article itself without proof). I really hope that George Lucas is going to give him another Jedi Master, because that would make his skills more believable. I completely agree. Luke needs more training to make his powers more believable. This may be a fictional story but it would be better if they made it as believable as possible. It's not too late to give Luke another teacher; after all there was approximately a three year gap between A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back and there are at least two Jedi alive in the rebellion era, apart from Yoda.--UnlimitedPower 21:19, October 22, 2010 (UTC)

    • This isn't really speculation, just opinions. If I'm not mistaken these talk pages are here so that people can give their opinions. I know that Luke doesn't have another Master, at least not yet, but that doesn't stop me from hoping that he will get one. After all they have altered the continuity with the Clone Wars series, so they can do so in the Galactic Civil War and still have it fit in with the movies. Wirting an article for Luke's X-wing

    • Mara's ships are distinct ships. Luke didn't have any "named" ships other than AA-589. There's really no reason to make articles for ships that aren't notable.<- Omicron 02:22, December 28, 2010 (UTC)
