More Main Image ideas

No. No. No. No. No. No. Anymore attempts to change that image should result in a ban. I'm getting sick and tired of people trying to replace the current image with images of HORRENDOUS quality. Seriously, these are all really bad. Not necessarily bad shots, just bad scans/jpegs. If we had some minimum standard for image quality, these would be deleted on sight. I'm tempted to delete them right now just because they suck so bad. -- Darth Culator ^(Talk)(TINC) 04:04, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

Headshot and it's from ROTJ. And I'm afraid that you have no choice but to sit back and let it be. I don't like it anymore then you do (okay, maybe I like it a little better then you but that's not the point) but I'm perfectly fine with it there. I have bigger fish to fry then dealing with the Luke image which I know people will be tired of in a month and another vote will be held with the previous image which will be placed back in. --Redemption^{Talk 15px} 04:29, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

  - Come on. This is locked now? Unlock it, and if anyone shifts the picture without clear vote consensus, ban him. There's no need such a major page should be locked from editing because one lone yahoo keeps changing the image when he knows he shouldn't. That's called vandalism and earns a ban. Trioculus

"Loosely canonical" (i.e. S-canon) is still canon; it just tends to lose out when direct canon conflicts come into play. And the existence of Trioculus and the role of Luke and SPIN in defeating him is well documented in more strongly canon sources. jSarek 08:40, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

"Shadows" Lightsaber

In Shadows of the Empire, didn't Luke have an orange-yellow lightsaber? It was after ESB, so he had already lost Anakin's lightsaber, but I thought it wasn't until the end of the novel that we saw him at Obi-Wan's, going over the plans his master had left behind and building his green lightsaber. I don't have the book with me right now, and I haven't checked the Shadows of the Empire article, but I'm about to. Does anybody else remember this orange lightsaber (the one he's got on the cover is DEFINITELY not green)--Thorvindr 01:39, 2 December 2006 (UTC)?

The novelization actually states that it was green. He built the saber fairly early on, because he had it when he went to Xizor's castle. I know that by the end he had the green lightsaber, but did he have the same one all throughout? I'll concede that he always had a green one, if that's what you're saying, but did Luke himself build two lightsabers?--Thorvindr 01:45, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
