I went through the New Essential Guide to Vehicles & Vessels and failed to locate the following quote attributed to that source:
"You think Lobot's mute, but he's just too busy talking to the central computer to bother speaking to us 'organics'" ―Lando Calrissian
I found it in the NEW Essential guide to Weapons and technology,

2004 on page 181. This is the entry in the GUide on Lobot's cyborg headgear

- I coulda sworn that's in one of the Black Fleet Crisis books... --School of Thrawn 101 06:34, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
Im sure that quote, like most other quotes form the Essential Guides series is from some other publsihed source but I havent read the Black Fleet books so I wouldnt know. If we do find its primary source, should we replace it in the article? Zuckuss777 23:38, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
- I don't see why not. --School of Thrawn 101 04:26, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
- I don't thik that always true about the Guides getting quotes from elsewhere. They add a quote sometimes (or use very observe sources). -Fnlayson 04:32, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
Infobox type
Does he really count as a Rebel/New Republic character if he spent most of his time working for Lando? He might have done some stuff for the New Republic, but I thought he just hung out on Cloud City between 5 and 6.-LtNOWIS 19:06, 6 May 2005 (UTC)
- I agree with that, and so does Decipher. I don't know if you know anything about SWCCG, but those two eyes in the upper left corner mean "Alien." If they thought he counted as Rebel, then he would have the Rebel logo there instead. -- Aidje 19:14, 6 May 2005 (UTC)
- Interesting how it says he's a former criminal too. -- Riffsyphon1024 19:28, 6 May 2005 (UTC)

What's missing?
Since this is already a decent sized article, I change the "stub" tag to an "expansion" one. But is there really anything missing? If not, someone feel free to remove the tag. -- Ozzel 06:50, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
Ellisa or Ellina?
Which one is it becuse it says both at different points in the article? —Unsigned comment by Freaky dug (talk • contribs)
- It's Ellisa, and it's fixed. jSarek 19:45, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
Borg?!
I noticed at a few points in the article, Lobot is referred to as having "borg" implants. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the borg exclusive to Star Trek and isn't Lobot definitely not a borg? I would go ahead and fix it, but I'm not sure if it's just someone shortening the phrase "cyborg" or not. -Vongchild
According to the SW RPG Arms and Equipment guide, Lobots cybernetic implants are called "borg" I woudl assume this is the name of the company that made them. Zuckuss777 19:14, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
- Borg is indeed a shortening of cyborg, and is a common term for cybernetic organisms in Star Wars, dating back to the old comics made in the late '70s and early '80s. It predates the use of the term by Star Trek by nearly a decade. jSarek 02:28, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
Pic of nonborg Lobot
Does anyone have a picture of Lobot before he became a cyborg?-Darth Homer 02:07, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
- I don't believe there is such a picture. jSarek 21:09, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
Lobot in the Star Wars Miniatures Game
Im going to add some basic information to this article regarding Lobot in the star wars miniatures game from Wizards of the Coast, just clearing it with the community. Zuckuss777 05:58, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
- I made my edit and I was just wondering how to add this page as my reference for the first sentence of my edit. http://www.wizards.com/swminis/swminis_db.asp?term=&format=U&cost=Allcosts&defense=Alldefense&attack=Allattack&damage=Alldamage&hitpoints=Allhitpoints&faction=Allfactions&rarity=Allrarities&output=gallery&sort=number
thanks Zuckuss777 06:17, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
- Add the following to that particular section of your edit:
- <ref name="Wizards.com site about Lobot">[URL for the website]</ref> --School of Thrawn 101 06:32, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
Thank you Zuckuss777 06:43, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
- No problem. --School of Thrawn 101 06:50, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
- However, in the section that I wrote "URL for the website", you need to actually add the physical web address for the page that links to the Lobot info. That text was just a place-holder. --School of Thrawn 101 06:51, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

improvement drive
What are some other ways we can improve this article? so far, we have
- sourced the quote at the top of the article
- added sw minis info
- added more references—Unsigned comment by Zuckuss777 (talk • contribs)
- Looking much better. That said, the intro still needs to be expanded and the Biography needs some sectioning. -- Ozzel 00:16, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
Is that it?
- Is that it after the Yuzhan vong war the info stops? Sith-venator 8:02PM 9-28-08
Age and Timeline
Does the part about; "The fall of the old republic" relate to the end of the Senate (0 ABY)? That's the only way to make the numbers work. The article says ha was born c 37 BBY. When he was 15 (c 17 BBY.) he was captured by pirates. After 2 years (c 15 BBY.) he fled to Cloud City. And there he worked for 15 years (c 0 ABY) until he (before the fall of the old republic) decided to keep working there. And as his time as a slave (c 17 BBY - c 15 BBY) he had grown a distaste for the Empire, so I guess it means the first years where Palpatine where Emperor, yes? My point is, IF "fall of the old republic" is when Palpatine made himself Emperor, then there where no empire to hate around his slave-years and he should be much older if he was 37 at that time. --Draii 13:22, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
It doesnt make much sense does it? He must have developed his distaste for the Empire at another time, as there really wasnt much of one at that time.--Kierjan 15:42, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
Height
I realize that the height is taken from the official listing on the Star Wars site, but it is quite obviously wrong when you compare him to Lando, Han, and Leia in the movie. By the height given here, he should only be slightly shorter than Lando and Han, and much taller than Leia, but when you see them in close proximity to each other, Lobot is at least 4 or 5 inches shorter than Lando, and maybe only a couple of inches taller than Leia at most.
