Appearances

Due to the fact that it says that there will be "all" of the characters from the first two seasons, should we add some large roled characters to the list like Ahsoka, Grievous, Dooku or Cad Bane? Unsigned comment by Cad Bane Owns (talk • contribs)

  • I would hold off until we have more information. Although it can be safe to say that these characters will appear, we should still wait for absolute confirmation. Also, please sign your comments with four tildes {~~~~}. OLIOSTER (talk) 21:29, February 8, 2010 (UTC)
      • Question: it says there will be characters from the first two seasons of the Clone Wars, but Savage Oppress is from season three. I vote to change it to the first three seasons of the Clone Wars. 173.180.89.129 18:31, February 19, 2011 (UTC)

III?

i thought this was IV not III. LSW I, LSW II original trilogy, LSW III complete saga, IV clone wars?--70.253.83.195 00:16, February 10, 2010 (UTC)

  • Never played any of them, but it looks like "Complete Saga" was some sort of repackage of the first two games. Dangerdan97 00:39, February 10, 2010 (UTC)
    • You are correct, Dangerdan. The Complete Saga is just a combo of the first two games with a few extras. OLIOSTER (talk) 01:08, February 10, 2010 (UTC)
Since this only has, like, five characters, is this not at all like the normal Lego Star Wars/Indiana Jones/Batman/Harry Potter (yeah, there's a new one) games? Or we just don't know what other characters there are?—B-Boba Fett! Bounties collected JasterMereelsSigil-TESB 21:01, February 11, 2010 (UTC)
The second option. These five characters were put in the appearances section because they are depicted on the cover (which is not a solid reasoning by itself). We don't know how many characters the game will have. QuiGonJinn Senate seal(Talk) 21:22, February 11, 2010 (UTC)

"Shipped on"

It says the game will be "shipped on the Wii..." don't we mean "playable on"?—BobaFett1 Bounties collected JasterMereelsSigil-TESB 17:53, March 21, 2010 (UTC)

Sequel?

How can this be a sequel? It takes place in the Clone Wars which was before the original trilogy which LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy focused on. If it took place after the battle of Endor, there would be continuity problems such as Obi-Wan Kenobi being alive and younger. This is more of a midquel of LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game. SeanWheeler 00:26, October 2, 2010 (UTC)

  • Notice "sequel" is in quotation marks. It shouldn't be taken literally to represent the in-universe sequence of events, but in terms of game release, it is the next in line after I and II. -- Riffsyphon1024 17:40, October 2, 2010 (UTC)

Release Date

The article says 2011, but Amazon.com says "Fall 2010"...? Korsa3 22:04, October 16, 2010 (UTC)

  • Amazon is not a reliable source for release dates. OLIOSTER (talk) 22:05, October 16, 2010 (UTC)
  • The official trailer is on starwars.com and it says "Coming This March". Xicufwm 03:48, February 10, 2011 (UTC)

Am I your father?

In both covers of the game Darth Vader makes his appearance. In the 2nd cover, he's actually depicted alongside General Grievous, as if he WAS one of the game's antagonist. Does this mean the game we'll go into Episode III? Personally, I think that deserves to be counted as part of the Clone Wars. Who knows, we might battle Lord Vader once again... User:XaviCommander

Darth Sidious is in

Palpatine's true face is in as a playable character. Check out the Star Wars website for more info. 173.180.89.129 18:30, February 19, 2011 (UTC)

Website article?

I may be wrong, but I don't see any article about the LEGO Star Wars III official website. In my opinion it would deserve an article, as it is a true online game, contrary to the usual promotional websites. What do you think? -- Kaal 23:22, March 30, 2011 (UTC)

  • Mention it in this article. OLIOSTER (talk) 23:28, March 30, 2011 (UTC)

It is not a sequel!

I don't care if "sequel" is in quotation marks, I would not call it a sequel. When I change it to saying what it really is, it gets reverted. What is with you people? A sequel means it takes place after LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy. Since LEGO Star Wars II covers the original trilogy, LEGO Star Wars III would have to take place after Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. However, the events of the Clone Wars doesn't make sense after Return of the Jedi. Many characters in the game had died by the end of Return of the Jedi. The game is a midquel to LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game because it actually takes place between Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. SeanWheeler 17:13, June 13, 2011 (UTC)

  • I've attempted to elaborate that it is not the third game chronologically. OLIOSTER (talk) 17:29, June 13, 2011 (UTC)
    • Just ignore. I think it's been taken care of already. JangFett (Talk) 20:15, June 13, 2011 (UTC)

Differences from the episodes

We have film comparisons in the articles for LEGO Star Wars I and II. As for the other LEGO Games, The Indiana Jones Wiki compared LEGO Indiana Jones 1 and 2 to the Indy films. Harry Potter Wiki compared LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 to the books and films and is ready to do the same thing with Years 5-7. The Pirates of the Caribbean Encyclopedia compared LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean to the films. So with that pattern, could we compare this game's levels to the episodes they're based on? Um , are making Lego Star Wars 4: The Clone Wars Season 3-5

And also powerful characters like the Son, Darth Sidious (Palpertine) and the SWTOR characters. Unsigned comment by Shuner Ren (talk • contribs)
