Spelling

Hmm. GG12 consistently spells their name as "Klatooinan" (on which I originally based the spelling of their name in my Vodran article). However, the Encyc and the Ultimate Alien Anthology spell it "Klatooinian." How do we decide which to go with? JSarek 05:35, 5 May 2005 (UTC)

  • Go with the highest level source (In this case none is higher than the other), then go with the most recent, which is Ultimate Alien Anthology, I think.--Eion 05:48, 5 May 2005 (UTC)
    • Fair enough. Though we should probably have a redirect (::::Sigh:::: Guess I need to look up how to do that ;-) ). I'll also drop a line in the Spelling Discrepancies thread on TOS and see if Tasty has an opinion on the matter. JSarek 06:03, 5 May 2005 (UTC)
      • No need to even do that. If you use the "Move" tab at the top of the page, it auto-creates a redirect, and moves the talk pages.--Eion 06:12, 5 May 2005 (UTC)

  • And Leland Chee clarified that the official spelling is indeed "Klatooinian." Case closed. JSarek 19:26, 5 May 2005 (UTC)
    • To add to that, it's because they come from Klatooine so the spelling of the species should reflect that. -- Riffsyphon1024 19:33, 5 May 2005 (UTC)

Biology

This article lacks a biology section that describes the unique attributes and general description of a species. In most species articles there is one. A good reason why the section should exist always is because there may come a time where a page article has no pictures to show the physical characteristics of the alien in question.99.188.36.80 13:57, August 30, 2013 (UTC)

  • Hate to revive an old post, but this point is still valid. Also since I am curious about the species and know nothing about it, I would also want to see the biology section. 198.53.253.177 00:31, August 8, 2014 (UTC)
