Occasional misjudgements

I often wonder why Ki-Adi-Mundi makes those misjudgements; refusing to believe the Sith have returned, refusing to believe Count Dooku could be capable of violence or murder, and refusing to believe Ahsoka Tano was innocent. I mean its a bit odd isn't it? He's said to be very wise and his species is said to be extremely intelligent.

I think the reason Mundi makes these misjudgements is because he pretty much always just thinks logically. He seems to use logic to argue against the truth; he argues that the return of the Sith is 'impossible' because (as far as the Jedi know), they have been extinct for a thousand years. He argues that Dooku is incapable of murder because he was once a Jedi and a 'political idealist'. And he basically seems to saying, like Tinn, that Ahsoka can't be innocent because the evidence is all against. I'm not saying its bad to think logically (i myself usually think logically), but one can't always rely on logic, sometimes one can be TOO logical, and some logics just don't work sometimes. • It does not matter what we think, what matters is what the sources say, we can't put our own thoughts and opinions into articles as that conflicts with the NPOV policy --Lewisr (talk) 23:23, June 9, 2017 (UTC)

I was just expressing my opinion, i never suggested that we put it in the article. And to say our opinions are 'irrelevant' or 'don't matter' is unfair and very disrespectful.User:Sam sparrow (User talk:Sam sparrow)

  • These pages are for discussing changes to the articles not giving your opinions of something. I meant when it comes to adding information to pages that it really doesn't matter what I think or what you think about the page, if we include our personal opinions that breaks the NPOV policy --Lewisr (talk) 10:45, June 16, 2017 (UTC)

Edit revertion

I've already explained my reasons on the history page. I changed the 'for example' to 'one such example' because Darth Ruiz asked me to find another way of writing it. And he at first didn't disagree with the misjudgements.User:Sam sparrow (User talk:Sam sparrow)

  • I was ok with the way it was rewritten, although in my personal opinion I don't like to use the word example, but that's just me--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 23:46, June 9, 2017 (UTC)

Death image

I have wanted to ask about this matter since long ago. Why we use the depiction of Ki-Adi-Mundi's death from the Galaxy's Edge 2 comic book issue if that's not how his death really took place? We see in Episode III that Mundi turned around and defended himself from the blasts of his former soldiers before being fatally hit, whereas the comic depicts him as having been shot behind his back without defending himself. As far I know, the film is the canon depiction of events. We shouldn't change the image? I always felt that this alternate depiction of Mundi's death was because the unidentified First Order stormtrooper sergeant didn't really paid attention to the details.... ---- X9 The Android (talk) 03:33, August 7, 2020 (UTC)

  • The comic at least had the best actual depiction of his death. Therefore, we decided to use an image that doesn't show his death, but is at least accurate to the film. Not too sure the comics depiction had all too much to do with the sergeant's statement about history but possible I guess --Lewisr (talk) 04:20, August 7, 2020 (UTC)

Episode II lightsaber blooper

Does anyone here know about him accidentally given a green lightsaber instead of a blue one in one shot? DarthJarJar27 (talk) 05:35, 1 August 2023 (UTC)

Acolyte

There is no material within the Acolyte or surrounding it that indicates Ki-Adi-Mundi was alive during these events. The Cerean Jedi shown in the Acolyte was not even named. So unless Ki-Adi-Mundi is the only Cerean male Jedi in Star Wars history it is inappropriate to assume he was this same Jedi. The Acolyte sections on this page should be removed until his presence has been confirmed. HotHasperat (Talk) 10:32, 19 June 2024 (UTC)

Yeah fam; guess you need to check the episode's credits, which quite literally list him by name.spookywillowwtalk 10:51, 19 June 2024 (UTC)
I stand corrected. HotHasperat (Talk) 02:18, 21 June 2024 (UTC)
