New page for "Geonosian Queen"

I think there should be a new page meant for the Geonosian queens, because they aren't just like any other queen who are leaders of a monarchy, but rather the same thing as a queen of say a bee-colony. For example in the newest Rebels episode, the queen egg was automatically a queen because it is the same thing with insects. Some born automatically as queens or just drones (the normal winged Geonosians), just like ants, bees, wasps, you name it, it real life. _MaZ__ (talk) 20:27, January 7, 2017 (UTC)

Well this just got interesting

  • According to everyone's favorite Life Day-celebrating Canadian, Karina the Great is more of the title of the current Geonosian queen than an individual name: [1] I feel a rename to "Karina the Great (Clone Wars)" is in order, as well as maybe a M4Z said above, an article for the title of Karina the Great. Also, in the same Tweet, Pablo confirms that the egg seen in Ghosts of Geonosis later becomes the queen seen in Darth Vader 4. Cool! –Nivlacanator(talk) 04:03, January 8, 2017 (UTC)
    • Wow, that was actually unexpected. And depressing. - AV-6R7Crew Pit 04:05, January 8, 2017 (UTC)
    • Well, I certainly wasn't expecting that. Is every archduke named Poggle the Lesser? Cevan IMPpress (talk) 04:08, January 8, 2017 (UTC)
      • I feel kind of the same way, AV. Regarding Poggle, no idea. Might be worth an ask, though. –Nivlacanator(talk) 04:12, January 8, 2017 (UTC)
        • So, we need a page for "Karina the Great (Title)", "Karina the Great (Clone Wars)" and "Karina the Great (Age of Empire)", the latter being the egg from Rebels, right? Lady Junky 05:22, January 8, 2017 (UTC)
          • Those are my exact thoughts. 'Cept, per Catalyst, there was one more queen in between. I'm not going to start editng or chnging any of the relevant ages yet until we have a consensus on the situation, though. –Nivlacanator(talk) 05:55, January 8, 2017 (UTC)
            • It's pretty straight-forward so you don't need to wait for a consensus. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 07:12, January 8, 2017 (UTC)

Just about the potential "Poggle the Lesser" issue. I asked Pablo, apparently it does not seem like the situation is the same for Poggle. https://twitter.com/pablohidalgo/status/822332734311804929 Lady Junky 06:43, January 20, 2017 (UTC)

Karina's death

How do you know the Karina of Geonosis didn't survive the incident involving the zombies? She could have made it to the sterilization, right?70.75.229.71 01:36, January 14, 2017 (UTC)

  • Agreed, unless anothed source says she died in "Legacy of Terror" then it's possible she lived up until the sterilization --Lewisr (talk) 01:45, January 14, 2017 (UTC)

Tweet as a source

Wookieepedia no longer uses tweets from members of the Lucasfilm Story Group as sources and this article does, as well as the Karina the Great (Age of the Empire) article. The pages kind of depend on them though, so keep it?--Afilmfanforlife (talk) 01:08, January 12, 2019 (UTC)

  • Well that second one only depends on the tweets for it being the egg we see Klik-Klak protect, in Star Wars: Galactic Atlas its said that the queen was Karina the Great --Lewisr (talk) 01:15, January 12, 2019 (UTC)
    • Wait Star Wars: Galactic Atlas says what?--Afilmfanforlife (talk) 01:21, January 12, 2019 (UTC)
      • That Vader and Aphra confronted the Geonosian queen on a planet now scourred of life by the Empire, then the picture next to one of Vader and Aphra is a Geonosian queen labeled Queen Karina --Lewisr (talk) 01:28, January 12, 2019 (UTC)
        • But not labeled “the Great?”--Afilmfanforlife (talk) 01:57, January 12, 2019 (UTC)
          • No, I just misremembered at first, it only says Queen Karina --Lewisr (talk) 02:01, January 12, 2019 (UTC)
            • And there is also Pages using the one Pablo tweet as a source. So that on earth page has to be moved? Maybe Karina (Age of the Empire)? We will probably have to do something about Karina the Great (Darth Vader)? Since no source used for the wiki to my knowledge, other than tweets which aren’t sources, says that all queens are Karina the Great.--Afilmfanforlife (talk) 02:07, January 12, 2019 (UTC)
