Birth date?
Where does that come from? She's already a Jedi trainee by the time of Dark Tide I, which would make her around ten by then. Likewise, it can't be forgotten that Valin said he didn't have a sister in Union which was set in 20ABY

- I was just thinking that 16 ABY doesn't make sense for her birth either based on the fact that Valin makes mention of not having a sibling in Union. And Union is set after 16 ABY. Age
In Omen, they state that Jysella is three years younger than Valin. But in the preview of Omen in Outcast they say she is 10 years younger. I'm assuming we are going by the age given in the actual Omen novel, but i'm still confused and don't want to officially edit her age yet...help? SilverBlade 14:14, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
- How can Omen be correct when it would put her birth before Union, which sees Luke and Mara's marriage. Valin and Syal Antilles are talking just before the ceremony and Syal asks if he has a little sister. Valin tells her he doesn't. Now Union is set in 20 ABY. So how could Jysella be ten years younger than her brother if he doesn't have a little sister in 20 ABY unless he is ten in 20 ABY and she is born that year? He birth in 16 ABY doesn't fit this claim by Valin.
Also, in her appearance in the Dark Tide Duology wasn't she considerably younger than Valin? -annonymous 9/23/2010 3:24 AM
Telekinesis?
I thought that all members of the Halcyon family couldn't use telekinesis but, acording to Omen it's just the male members of the family. Is this a canonical error or what?
- Before Jysella we really haven't gotten a look at any force sensitive female Halcyon's, therefore Christie Golden's choice to declare only the males lacking in telekinesis makes that very fact canon, also please sign your posts
