CUSWE lists this name with a double 'l' in the second name:
- J'ywz'gnk Kchhlbrxcstk Et'nrmdndlcvtbrx (current)
- J'ywz'gnk Kchhllbrxcstk Et'nrmdndlcvtbrx (CUSWE)
Anyone know if the mistake is ours or TF.N's? - Kwenn 11:58, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
- I copy-and-pasted straight off the OS. It could be a typo on their end, though. Can anyone check CUSWE's source (Insider 67, it looks like; I'm guessing Who's Who in the Max Rebo Band) to see that they didn't misspell it? - Lord Hydronium 12:02, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
- Where on the OS? His full name isn't in the Databank - Kwenn 12:21, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
- The page for the newest What's the Story. It's about one of the Yuzzum in Jabba's Palace, and it mentions that Joh Yowza's full name is...that. - Lord Hydronium 12:29, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
- Aha, I hadn't seen that. Hmm, well I don't have Insider, but hopefully someone can check. I'd rather go with the name used in an actual article on the band rather than the one used in a contest on the OS - Kwenn 15:03, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
- According to Star Wars Insider 67, it's double L. --Azizlight 15:08, 21 January 2006 (UTC)

Move to Joh Yowza?
Should this be moved to Joh Yowza? He is best known as Joh Yowza, and it is also his most recent name. Just like Siiruulian Phantele redirects to Max Rebo, Mara Jade redirects to Mara Jade Skywalker, and Reggie Dwight redirects to Elton John. --Azizlight 15:19, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
- That would be easier, though I've been under the impression we were supposed to use their original names - in the case of Palpatine/Darth Sidious and Dooku/Darth Tyranus - Kwenn 15:22, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
- Not to mention Thrawn/Mitth'raw'nuruodo. --Imp 15:27, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
- Hmm, looks lke we have some inconsistency then. Perhaps the discussion should be moved to the Community portal to establish some rules about naming... --Azizlight 15:30, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
- We've been going for "real names", so unless the guy formally changed his name (rather than just using a stage name), he belongs here. QuentinGeorge 01:08, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
- It's not "real names" so much as "most common/latest used full names." I'm moving it back. —Silly Dan (talk) 18:15, 19 May 2006 (UTC)
- "With full names preferred to nicknames", according to the Consensus Track. If he didn't formally change his name, wouldn't Joh Yowza be a nickname? - Lord Hydronium 18:17, 19 May 2006 (UTC)

Continuing this...I also think this should be moved to Joh Yowza. "J'ywz'gnk Kchhllbrxcstk Et'nrmdndlcvtbrx" is the name he was known by on Endor. But "Joh Yowza" is the name that anyone who had heard of him as a singer would have known. I think the Elton John example is a good one. -- Ozzel 19:46, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
- Vote? —Silly Dan (talk) 04:00, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
- If there are no other objections, then it looks like the majority rules. If somebody could please delete the redirect, let's move this! -- Ozzel 04:17, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
- Okay, I'm gonna tag the redirect for deletion. -- Ozzel 19:23, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
- Moved. Apparently, the community has decided that stage names can be counted as real names. (Short of finding the guy's landspeeder operation license or musician's union card, the fact that everyone calls him Joh Yowza is proof enough for me that he adopted the new name.) —Silly Dan (talk) 01:58, 8 September 2006 (UTC)

- Er, Rod... you moved the article back despite the fact that your opinion lost the vote even after you voted? What happened to majority rule? -- Ozzel 01:33, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
Move to Joh Yowza
Vote for this option only if you think we can interpret Joh Yowza as a legitimate real, full name.

Keep at J'ywz'gnk Kchhllbrxcstk Et'nrmdndlcvtbrx
Vote for this option if you consider Joh Yowza as merely a pseudonym or alias.
- Darth Culator 11:35, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
- Grievous loudly trumpetd that that was his name. I consider Yowza's name more like that of the Roche Hive Mechanical Apparatus Design and Construction Activity for Those Who Need the Hive's MachinesRodtheanimegod4ever 01:15, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
CT Thread
Rather than get into an edit war with Rod, I suggest turning it over to a consensus track thread: it may generate more heat than light, but clearly we aren't solving the problem here. Let's talk. —Silly Dan (talk) 01:36, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
Diner?
I removed this bit of info: "After Jabba's death, Joh began working at a diner on Tatooine." Is there any source for this? The two main sources I've looked at (the official site's databank and Who's Who in the Max Rebo Band), say he performed on a ship after Jabba died. -- Ozzel 05:15, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
- It's not in Star Wars Trilogy Sourcebook, Special Edition either. —Silly Dan (talk) 17:05, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
- Okay then. I wonder if someone maybe confused "liner" with "diner." -- Ozzel 17:20, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
Move
Can I move this (along with anyone else with stage names) to whatever his real name is? Chack Jadson 11:37, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
- No. -- I need a name (Complain here) 14:15, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
