Shadow=Sentinel?

The BTS says they are the same, just with different names. Now, either this is fanon, to be removed, or a merge with Jedi Sentinel is required.DarthMRN 01:25, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

mmo-talk

"These Jedi shadows specialized in stealth and dealing high amounts of damage to enemies in melee combat."

This is such pure mmo-talk. One hit with a lightsaber is death for almost everyone (apart from those cases where you just take off a limb). Talking about "dealing high amounts of damage" seems totally wrong to me. --Cappinator 09:14, August 29, 2011 (UTC)

2.3 Expansion/rewrite

My saying: Jedi Shadows were ORIGINALLY advanced from the Jedi Consular rank, during the Old Republic era, before the Ruusan Reformation. The Path of the Jedi Manual was changed and revised at the beginning of the Ruusan Reformation.

It is stated as an advanced class of the Jedi Senteinel in the Path of the Jedi Manual novel, which dates back to the Ruusan Reformation. So my guess is that Jedi Shadows have only come from the Jedi Sentinel SINCE the Ruusan Reformation.

Before the Ruusan Reformation, Jedi Shadows were an advancement of Jedi Consulars. After the Reformation, they changed to Jedi Sentinels.

Recommendations?

Cold anyone recommend a Star Wars novel/comic that mainly focuses on Jedi Shadows? My boyfriend owns every book titled ever printed, save for about a dozen, so perhaps there is one I could read for more research? It wouldn't make sense for me to just start reading all of them, as there are no less than 7 or 8 dozen.
