Every officer?

Are we sure that every Imperial officer is part of the Officer Corps? In the comic Palpatine gathers officers and says that they are the most elite officers in the military and would form the core of his operations, so I don't think that every officer is part of the Corps as we have been treating it. If Legends is any indication, it also seems to support that not every officer was part of the Officer Corps, only the best.--Vitus Infinitus^Talk 23:17, July 12, 2018 (UTC)

Don't know if this helps, but maybe good to point out. I'd imagine the naval corps is a subunit of the overall Imperial corps.--Editoronthewiki (talk) 02:37, July 20, 2020 (UTC)
