Can 'Trivia' and 'Behind the scenes' be combined under one heading for this article? --Xwing328 17:24, 26 February 2006 (UTC)

  • Are the dark airspeeders used by Noghri in this book the Shadow V from RCR?JustinGann 01:34, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

Didn't this trilogy state that the period of the Noghri servitude to the Empire was around 40 years long? How did they retcon this to reconcile with the gap of merely 19 years between episodes III and IV? Jwebb13 00:02, 19 August 2006 (UTC)

  • In the Clone Wars comic adventure that detailed the destruction of Honoghr, it is stated that the Noghri year is shorter than the Coruscant year. Evir Daal 12:13, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
    • That retcon goes back to the original Essential Guide to Alien Species. -LtNOWIS 12:57, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
      • OK, I didn't know that. You got me. Evir Daal 13:49, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
        • Old topic, sorry. That's a great attempt at covering up the inconsistency, but I believe Pellaeon mentions something of 40 or 50 year gap or something too, I could be wrong though... 129.107.81.12 03:12, 27 October 2008 (UTC)
  • Why do we need retcons? Why cant we admit there have been some continuity errors in the Prequel timeline? Originally the Clone Wars and the Jedi Purge were supposed to be 2 completely different events in SW history. Why are we squeezing the old original RPG time line, that LFL aproved, causing problems with older source material that conformed to it? FVBonura

"Three Chariot Light Assualt Vehicles"

Hi, I'm reading this book for the first time and I noticed that when Thrawn sends a task force of stormtroopers and scout troopers down to Myrkr to search for Skywalker, he also mentions sending "three Chariot light assualt vehicles" as well. Why aren't these mentioned anywhere on this page? Also, I can't find a page for them anywhere else either... This is a fairly 'important' page, what with this book being so key to the revival of Star Wars, so why is this page incomplete? 65.218.104.71 18:21, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

isnt the galaxy EVER at peace?! Illogic armada 22:50, 9 January 2009 (UTC)

  • It would seem you are correct. Why not create an entry? I have the "Heir to the Empire" Sourcebook. Create the page and I will see to its completion and images.--72.70.171.43 03:10, 10 January 2009 (UTC)

Audiobook Narator

I have all three parts of this series in audiobook form. I noticed that the other two parts of the series don't have their narrators listed, I didn't know the narrator off the top of my head, so I just copy pasta the one listed here. However, Later on, I took a real quick listen to the book just to make sure, and the narrators claims he's "Larry A. McKeever" or something similar. Did Lawson go under a different name or something? On top of that, the narrator can't pronounce "han" correctly, so I highly doubt he's the guy who played Wedge...

I'll leave it as it is now, unless someone else knows for sure whats up with Wedge there...''Kal Rayce'' 04:27, 16 July 2009 (UTC)

  • I ended up figuring it out myself, turns out theres 5 versions of the Audiobook [1], see #12 in part 2.''Kal Rayce'' 14:46, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
Yes, Larry McKeever did the unabridged version for Books on Tape. I actually like Lawson's version better, even if it is abridged. 65.78.69.194 00:07, November 20, 2009 (UTC)
Actually, there's six versions of HTTE in audio; there's another unabridged version by Chuck Benson, he also did DFR and TLC. He's quite good, also did a great version of Stephen King's IT. Thanos6 01:37, November 4, 2011 (UTC)

Lando's assistant

Lando has an assistant who juryrigs Threepio into having Leia's voice. He sounds like Lobot--has a borg implant around his head--except he's described as having hair while Lobot, of course, is bald. Do we have any idea who this guy might be? Thanos6 01:35, November 4, 2011 (UTC)

Sonde Balloon

Do you think the link to the non-existant Sonde balloon page should be moved into "Weapons and technology"?132.177.82.46 02:25, September 30, 2013 (UTC)

Wrong Cover?

I know it's listed in the Trivia but surely the cover for the Russian - Наследник Империи (1996 Edition) is wrong? It's half Truce at Bakura and half Dark Empire. I'd google translate the title on the cover from Russian if I could but tbh I don't know how to get those Russian letters up. I think if no one can confirm that the Russian Title says Heir to the Empire it should be removed from the page. --Game Thruz (talk) 08:28, May 14, 2018 (UTC)

Release date

There's contemporary reviews accessible in newspaper archives (example: the 6/5/91 edition of the ~Torrance Daily Breeze~) that give the novel's release date as May 15. ThtDarnGATswofc (talk) 07:13, July 4, 2019 (UTC)
