Various Jedi?

Does anyone have any idea what this statement is supposed to mean?:

Its proximity to Jabba's Palace makes it an ideal killing spot within reach for various Jedi.

I can't figure it out. -- Aidje 14:11, 3 May 2005 (UTC)

  • I think that sentence refers to the attempted execution of Luke. Unsigned comment by Riffsyphon1024 (talk • contribs)
    • Hmm. Perhaps. That's certainly a strange way of saying it. I'll try to change it to something that makes sense. -- Aidje 16:13, 3 May 2005 (UTC)
      • The statement most likely refers to the Star Wars: Return of the Jedi (novelization) where Jabba Desilijic Tiure says to Luke, “ Your mind powers will not work on me, boy. I am not affected by your human thought pattern. I was killing your kind when being a Jedi meant something. ” — Jabba the Hutt, “Return of the Jedi” (novelization), p. 30 -- Frank V Bonura 15:18, June 13, 2015 (UTC)

Boba Fett

The article says that the CGI "mouth" swallowed Boba Fett. This is true, but it didn't chew him. There's no reason he couldn't still have escaped.

Also, his escape is not a retcon. If the Sarlacc were shown, in the Special Edition, to chew him, the fact that he could not have escaped would be a retcon, since the Special Edition was released after the books detailing his escape..--Thorvindr 07:49, 19 May 2006 (UTC)

Have fun chewing Mandalorian armor :P Anyways, The pit was supposed to digest beings over a LONG time, and the victim was alive through the entire thing. If you chewed his head off, they wouldn't be alive. I doubt the Sarlacc can chew.--B-Boba Fett! He'll kill us all! 17:24, 8 June 2009 (UTC)

Outdated image?

Isn't this picture one from the original version of Return of the Jedi, before it was revamped with CGI? Can't see any tentacles or beak! Kev-La Ttolya 15:29, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

  • It's not outdated. Besides, I see tentacles, and the beak could be further into its maw at that moment. I think that pic should stay. 71.231.130.121 06:28, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
    • Who cares, anyway? A picture's a picture.64.180.93.200 01:11, 14 June 2009 (UTC)

Victims

Are "Unlucky Jedi" and "Unidentified female Jedi Knight" supposed to be the same character? Or are they seperate characters? If they are, one needs removing, and if not, the second needs some kind of identification or reference. --Bluerock 18:05, February 8, 2012 (UTC)
