Merge?

- Coruscant is the planet itself, Galactic/Imperial City is the city on the planet. Distinct enough that I think they deserve separate articles; this should cover things like the administration of the city itself, its various districts, and so forth. In other words, the topics that apply specifically to the city, rather than the planet in general. We should merge Imperial City with this, though. - Lord Hydronium 03:09, 9 Jan 2006 (UTC)
Whole planet? Really?
I was always under the impression that Republic/Galactic/Imperial City was the name of a specific section of Coruscant—the one with the Senate and all that other good stuff in it—rather than the entire planet. I can't recall if this impression is based on an actual source (and even if that source is contradicted, it ought to have a BTS mention at least), or if I just sort of made it up.
