Gendered terms
Quick question: when we say that a frigate was a ship with a crew of between 200 and 1000 men, is that a direct quote (that is, does some source somewhere say, specifically, "between 200 and 1,000 men") or is the use of "men" shorthand for "beings"? Given the existence of characters like Cha Niathal and Natasi Daala, not to mention the fact that we shouldn't be being unnecessarily sexist (by treating "men" and "beings" as coextensive), unless we're quoting a source in which differentiating "men" and "beings" matters, "men" should be reworded. Sorry for length. Thanks! AnneA 04:34, May 6, 2010 (UTC)

- Because the one who added it didn't notice that it already was there? :) You don't really need to ask here if you see something wrong; just be bold and do it. 1358 (Talk) 11:15, February 6, 2011 (UTC)
Munificent-class Link?
Why doesn't the Munificent-class Star Frigate link lead to the Munificent-class Star Frigate page? It appears to be spelled properly but clicking on it leads to a blank page. --Roguestar (talk) 22:19, May 10, 2013 (UTC)
