Canon/non-canon

Why is this article considered canon but it says its not canon? Also the show isnt canon but all characters are?

  • The Lego/Freemaker show occupies kind of a grey area within canon. It's post-Disney reboot so it's definitely not EU/Legends, but it doesn't quite fit in with 'proper' canon either. There's been talk from some of the Story Group folks that elements of Freemakers are valid and factual parts of canon, while other stuff is not. — DigiFluid(Whine here) 18:44, December 5, 2018 (UTC)
    • But we dont know what parts are canon. Cant it be a third thing (cagends, legon or simply non-canon) or just nothing.
      Canon/non-canon is confusing and misleading
      • There's an interview somewhere where the recent Lego shows are referred to as "Canon-adjacent". It's basically secondary canon; the characters do actually exist (thanks Droidogaphy), and some of their antics probably do happen, just not quite as portrayed.
I do feel, though, that this page is less strict about confirmed vs. unconfirmed canonicity than the other Freemaker-related pages.

Expansion

This page is really not up to Wookieepedia standards. Beyond simply lacking images and accurate information, it also is not clear about "canon adjacent" status. Additionally, there exists no page for "Lena Freemaker." I don't know much about the show, but this definitely needs some major work. EthSch13 (talk) 14:08, 15 December 2020 (UTC)

  • A page does exist for Lena, but since her name hasn't been used in a canon source we're simply left with it being Unidentified Imperial prisoner for now. Also there is pretty limited actual canon info on the family since they were mentioned in the Droidography book, therefore anything from the show should be placed in the behind the scenes section. --Lewisr (talk) 16:22, 15 December 2020 (UTC)
