  • Where is it said that Ithorians produce high numbers of Force Sensitives? I've only heard of three Ithorian Jedi: Roron Corobb, Saldith, and Noga-ta Xeran 17:24, 24 September 2006 (UTC)

Each Ithorian herd is presided over by a Nature Priest, who is force sensitive. While certainly not conclusive, this would seem to indicate that force sensitives (not necessarily Jedi) are relatively common among their people. But perhaps someone else has more substantial proof than I do. ~Jim North (10/05/06)

Improvement Drive

  • This is only a suggestion but, I think this article should be put on the list of improvement drives due to the fact that it posses relatively few information on a highly important subject. Xeran 00:14, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
    • I agree. I went ahead and nominated it. -- Ozzel 00:47, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

Midi-chlorians

  • Is there any source that says how many midi-chlorians are required for a being to be trained as a Jedi? I know Supershadow says like 7000, but has it been established what a high number is officially? Chack Jadson 00:23, 11 October 2006 (UTC)

Don't listen to Supershadow. He's a liar. And no, I have no idea.Lowbacca5 16:49, 22 December 2006 (UTC)

Yuuzahn Vong

The article states that the Vong were not touched by the Force, but AFAIK there were Vong Force Sensitives. And while I am bringing it up, waht exactly was the nature of Vong Force-blindness? Their article mentions nothing of the practical effects this had for them. Were they immune to Force Powers, or simply impossible to sense in the Force?DarthMRN

  • Jedi could not sense the Vong through the Force, and no Force power targeted directly at a Vong affected him. Indirect uses of the Force, such as throwing an object at him, would still work, but rule out Mind Trick, Force Lightning and the like. Evir Daal 08:16, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

The vong were stripped of the force by the living planet yuuzantar becasue it was mad at them for killing all the races in the galaxy so therefore they can not be sensed or have any force contacy except for the exception of onimi who somehow regained his conection to the force through his experiments. Im not sure if onimi would be considered force sensitive thought 69.26.85.11 23:26, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

The Vong could be affected by the Force. They could not be sensed through it because they were stripped of it. However, direct Foce attacks, such as a Force Push, could affect the Vong. Luke Skywalker used a Force Push to drive oncoming Vong warriors backwards.

Yoda's species and Force-sensitivity

Is Yoda's species composed entirely of Force-sensitives or does it have a high rate of Force-sensitives? There has never been a non-Force-sensitive member of Yoda's species introduced to the Star Wars universe. Tedius Zanarukando 10:19, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

Put it this way, where can you find Yoda's species anywhere else in Star Wars, the most similar character is Yaddle as far as I am aware--Master Chief Petty Officer 10:25, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

  • Well, there's Master Vandar in KotOR and maybe someone else, but that's it I think. Anyway, we've only seen three or four in all of Galactic history so far, I don't think we can make any judgments based on such a small sample and no canon info. Evir Daal 08:55, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
  • To be precise, there's Yoda, Yaddle, Vandar Tokare and (dubiously) Minch, all Jedi. But yes, the explanation could be anything. Maybe all members of Yoda's species are strongly Force-sensitive, but only very few leave their planet, and these all become Jedi due to their strong connection with the Force. Or maybe very few are Force-sensitive and these all become Jedi, while the rest stay behind. Or maybe there are very few members of Yoda's race to begin with, and they have an unusually high number of Force-sensitives, which is why we see them as Jedi but not anywhere else. Until and if they ever decide to shed more light on Yoda's species, we just don't know. 82.95.254.249 20:03, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

Anakin's virgin birth

This article states that Shimi Skywalker was a virgin when she gave birth to Anankin. I believe that nowhere in canon is this stated, only that Anakin had no father. This does not mean Shimi was a virgin.

I personally think that Anakin(not Anankin(look at the post above mine)) was created by Darth Plagueis in his experiment to create life. He could influence the Midichlorians to create life, explaining Anakin's high midichlorian count. Emperordmb 21:49, April 17, 2011 (UTC)

"Origins" Section Needs an Overhaul

I'm not exactly sure how this section could be rewritten for better quality, but I do know that it needs to be reworded. Summer lee727 05:43, 5 November 2008 (UTC)

Shouldn't Logray be listed on this page?

On Logray's page, it clearly says he's Force-sensitive. Shouldn't he be listed here? --LadyVader 02:56, June 2, 2010 (UTC)

Under Species and Objects

"A creature (or object) did not necessarily need to be sentient to be able to possess Force sensitivity. Qui-Gon Jinn once gave Obi-Wan a stone from his homeworld's "River of Light" and it by unknown means appeared to be Force-sensitive as speculated by Obi-Wan. " Really? I own that book (that this rock was discussed in), even though I can't find it right now. Was the stone SPECIFICALLY called "Force-sensitive"? Or was it just Force-imbued? Obi-Wan was locked in a meat freezer, and was, like, helping to keep himself warm with the stone.WIERDGREENMAN 17:32, November 11, 2010 (UTC)

Zeltron Force-sensitivity

Sorry, this isn't an answer to the above question, but another question. On the Zeltron page, it says that Zeltrons were a new species of the human genus. Humans are mentioned on this page as a species producing high numbers of Force-sensitives. As a new species of humans, would this also apply to Zeltrons? Do they produce high numbers of force-sensitives as a race? BleedingEffect (talk) 20:45, July 8, 2012 (UTC)

  • Talk pages are for discussing changes to the article, not asking questions about the subject. Take this to the Knowledge Bank to see if one of us knows if there's canon on that. NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 21:54, July 8, 2012 (UTC)

Ok sorry about that. BleedingEffect (talk) 19:59, July 10, 2012 (UTC)
