Spoilers

What the heck spoilers was this created on? The duel was on Anakin Solo, not Kashyyyk. Move it. Havac 00:06, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

Does Luke after the battle know that Jacen become a Sith-Lord? -Unsigned comment by 85.176.120.222 (talk • contribs)

  • I don't think he does, to be honest. But he realizes he's an evil guy that needs to be stopped. -LtNOWIS 19:21, 29 August 2007 (UTC)

Force hurl into wall

I changed it to say that Luke Force hurled them both into the wall. It makes more sense that way. The quote from the book on page 262 is "Luke slammed an elbow into Jacen's ribs, but it was like hitting a permacrete wall. Instead of continuing to fight, he accelerated into the spin, using the Force to hurl them both into the nearest wall."

It seems to me that this implies that Luke's elbow had little effect on Jacen; so rather then remain in a position where Jacen held the advantage, Luke threw them both into the wall. Furthermore, why would Jacen remove himself from a position where he held the advantage over Luke, i.e. behind Luke and strangling him? If someone changes it back, I think there ought to be an explanation on the talk page. 128.194.37.180 01:35, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

Prelude Question

Doesn't Jacen (after taking Ben's suggestion) only order the killing of all the adult Jedi on Ossus? Maybe it's not that important of a distinction but for accuracy's sake I think it should be mentioned. However, after skimming back through the book I can't seem to find where this was actually said. Can anyone back me up on this?--Valheru 22:33, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

Aftermath

What is the basis for the information given in the "aftermath" section of this article? I don't remember reading that at all.

Merging discussion

As Imp saw fit to place a mergeto template on the page, I'll be the first to argue against a merge. We have two seperate articles for the Battle of Endor, and the Duel on Death Star II, so why not the same here? This duel is just as notable IU. • This was a part of the military action, and the battle as a whole. The Duel on the Death Star was completely separate. Merge. Thefourdotelipsis 11:54, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
    • Per Dot. Merge. --Imperialles 02:28, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
      • I actually agree with Jasca. Take the two duels in the Iron Citadel of the Krath. Both were parts of grander encounters (Mission to Empress Teta & Second Battle of Empress Teta), yet both were significant enough to warrant their own articles. That is why a "Concurrent" field is present in the duel infobox. And, given the detail with which the author describes this first Anakin Solo duel, a separate article is definitely necessary, IMO. I could write it, & I'm sure others are capable as well without taking anything away from the encompassing battle. I'm against the merge, from an adept duel-composing writer's POV.Tommy9281 Red lightsaber (Peace is a lie) 03:07, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
