Source
- What's the official source where this species is mentioned? --Sompeetalay 13:41, October 1, 2009 (UTC)

- Messageboards on TFN are not an official source. Jason is a great guy but you can't take everything an author says for granted. Besides he never mentions the source where it's published. It could very well be official but it has never been published in an official source. --Sompeetalay 09:19, October 12, 2009 (UTC)
- I don't have the Visual Guide myself, so I assumed he just clarified thing, that was stated there, but wasn't obvious. Besides, we treat VIP's posts on forums as canon, remember? MauserComlink 10:41, October 12, 2009 (UTC)
- The exact quote was "When he [Vindi] disappeared, most of his acquaintances assumed the Permese had arranged another 'accident.'" Per Fry's comments, the "Permese" was apparently meant to refer to the Perma families, not Vindi, but Fry left room for misinterpretation. CC7567 (talk) 18:22, October 12, 2009 (UTC)
- There is no official book that declares Vindi as a Faust. Why do you accept VIP posts as canon? They need permission from LFL as well to make things official. I'm an official author too (4 WTS stories), so can I invent things as well? Please understand, I'm only asking this because I feel this is fanon. I said it before, Jason is a very friendly guy and he's always willing to help, but as long as Vindi's species doesn't show up in an official publication, it's not confirmed. Maybe we should ask Leland Chee about it. --Sompeetalay 17:15, December 5, 2009 (UTC)
- Actually yes, VIP forum posts are considered canon both by precedent and by our Canon policy. Asking Leeland on that matter would be pointless, he stopped answering canon questions many months ago. MauserComlink 17:24, December 5, 2009 (UTC)

Homeworld
What's the name of the Faust homeworld? —Unsigned comment by 24.158.16.162 (talk • contribs)
- If it's not in the article, it most likely hasn't been verified in any source. CC7567 (talk) 20:34, December 14, 2009 (UTC)
- Impossible to know since the name of the species itself has not yet been verified in any official source. --Sompeetalay 00:03, January 24, 2010 (UTC)
Redirect?
Why does permese redirect to the Faust article? According to Jason Fry on theforce.net [1] they are probably not the same. But not enough info exists to have them share an article. --Tellanroaeg 17:15, February 6, 2010 (UTC)
- To blank the redirect page is not the appropriate way to "delele" the redirect. You can mark it with {{delete}} instead. Xd1358 Talk 17:18, February 6, 2010 (UTC)
- Ok, thanks for the info. Hope I did it right now. --Tellanroaeg 17:32, February 6, 2010 (UTC)
