  • Who said this techniqe had been lost by the time of the clone wars? Doesn't Mace Windu use this in the Clone Wars Cartoon? Charlii 09:34, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
    • when are you thinking of? because im preety sure he doesn't. Jedi Dude 09:48, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
      • In the Battle of Dantooine (Clone Wars), he uses the force to destroy droids in a number of ways. Is there anything to say that it was not related to this technique? Charlii 10:00, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
        • Isn't this the same as mechu-deru? Evir Daal 09:11, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
          • Since it was used by Jedi, I somehow doubt that. Could just be the Sith name for the same thing. Wouldn't be the first time. DarthMRN 16:15, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

Anakin didn't use this power in the Battle of Jablim, or how the hell you spell it

He made the droids shoot each other, using some form of droid mind control, not at all like short-ciruit mentioned in this article. I'll remove it as a source, unless someone can argue that Droid disable came with the power to control droid minds as well. DarthMRN 16:15, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

  • Which also means that the top quote doesn't belong here. DarthMRN 14:51, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

Mechu macture?

In the New Essential Guide to Droids (on the Techno-beast page, if anyone wants to look it up) it says that one of the only technology-related light-side force powers was mechu macture, or "destroy droid" as it was more commonly known. I'm not sure, but I think this comes from KotOR II, in which there is a force power called "destroy droid" that is a more advanced form of "droid disable." I was making a mechu macture page when I found this page. Now, I've never played KotOR II, but I assume these two powers are related, if not identical. Should it be added here, or should I make a separate page?

I'd appreciate your help; I'm a new user. Rymmeli Throhn 21:02, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

  • All Force powers aimed at disabling droids should be merged, in my opinion. --Imp ATATatarismall.png 21:08, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

I don't know of any other droid-disabling powers besides these two, and I suspect that they are actually the same one. I don't know what to do about it, though. In the meantime, I might merge mechu-deru and mechu-deru vitae.Rymmeli Throhn 16:26, 12 April 2007 (UTC)

Disable Droid

"Stun Droid" and its improved version "Destroy Droid" - thats the KotOR force powers to disable droids

Capitalization

I'm a bit confused. Shouldn't Droid Disable be rendered droid disable instead? Or are all names of Force powers considered proper nouns? Cyfiero 06:23, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
