Conflict
So I'm not entirely sure what the full scope of this Rogue One 360 is, but are there different outcomes? Like, is this a game? The reason I ask is because Lucasfilm released this video. There is no battle that takes place here. The Empire shoots down the X-wings, but the X-wings don't fight back. Unless there's something else to this Rogue One 360 beyond what's in this video, then IMO this event wouldn't qualify as article-worthy because there is no actual conflict. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 18:10, November 15, 2016 (UTC)
Well it's a 360 interactive experience meaning u can look around and see the environment your in. As for the x wings not fighting back, they shot down two tie fighters before transmitting the scans they took to Yavin. —Unsigned comment by Jkirk8907 (talk • contribs) 20:13, November 15, 2016 (UTC)
- It's on Youtube now as well, Brandon...I'd say it's fine to have an article since the fighters are definitely on a scouting mission. Corellian Premier

Rebel Dossier
The last page of Rogue One Rebel Dossier seems to confirm that this event is in fact canon. Anyone else have any words? –Nivlacanator(talk)<z/span> 06:20, December 22, 2016 (UTC)
Can you upload a pic of where it says that? Jkirk8907 (talk) 06:41, December 22, 2016 (UTC)
- It says the following: "This just came in. You need to see it, Commander." "Details: Unidentified construct spotted near jumping-off point to hyperspace lane Terrabe Bypass to Jedha. [...] Unknown construct was defended by task force of capital ships with TIE fighter pickets." –Nivlacanator(talk) 08:32, December 22, 2016 (UTC)
- Huh, that's interesting. might wanna tweet the author to see if it is the same event.

- This doesn't preclude it from being a same event, but the person making the report is not the two Scouts - the reporter is called out as evading the site. Corellian Premier

- Star Wars: The Rebel Files also seemingly has this event in canon, General Dodanna sends a note to Mon Mothma saying that just before the Battle of Scarif one of their Far Needle pilots encountered the Death Star near the jumping-off point to the Terrabe Bypass and captured a scan. Then he says they combined the scan with data recorded by their fleet sensors at Scarif --Lewisr (talk) 03:38, May 3, 2018 (UTC)
- Where is it mentioned in Timelines, if the article is right? Editoronthewiki (talk) 19:43, 20 May 2025 (UTC)
