Rebels

By defintion, a Stormtrooper that wields a rocket launcher and is a good distance from the battlefield is a Demolition Trooper. That fits the description of the trooper we saw in the episode of Rebels called "Hera's Heroes." Also, if you look closely at the Battlefront rocket launcher and the launcher in Rebels, they are identical. Think about it this way, if that was a regular stormtrooper he would be doing his job and shooting at the escaping ship, not haphazzardly picking up a rocket launcher and shooting it. That's what the Demolition Trooper is for. This is undoubtedly a Demolition Trooper in that episode of Rebels. What do you guys think? • I don't think we should add it, this is for the specialized unit someone that takes a rocket launcher doesn't make it a demolition trooper just like if a stormtrooper in standard armor in a cold environment doesn't make it a Snowtrooper or a clone trooper taking a jetpack doesn't make it a jumptrooper.--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 00:17, February 12, 2018 (UTC)
    • The rocket launcher is more similar to the RPS-6 rocket launcher which has been used in Rebels before (in fact I believe it's the same model). The definition is not "a stormtrooper that wields a rocket launcher and is a good distance". Demolition troopers are specialized stormtroopers. The payload of the smart rocket of Demolition Troopers acts more akin to a homing shot in campaign gameplay. We can't assume that they're the same.--Vitus InfinitusTalk 00:22, February 12, 2018 (UTC)

Battlefront: Twilight Company

During the Battle of the Tower, Hazram Namir fights a trooper operating a rocket launcher who destroys a wall. Would this be considered a demolition trooper? Yo.-User:Fan26 (Talk) 18:40, February 20, 2018 (UTC)

  • No, just because they have a rocket launcher doesn't make them a specialised trooper.—Tommy-Macaroni Imperial Emblem (TAKE A SEAT) 18:42, February 20, 2018 (UTC)
