Declaration of Independence

It took me maybe two seconds reading this to realize that they took inspiration from the United States' Declaration of Independence. I thought it was cool. Jkirk8907 (talk) 11:23, December 14, 2016 (UTC)

How can it mention the Senate's dissolution?

There's something weird about the content of the Declaration: when accusing the Emperor of a variety of crimes, Mothma says "You have disbanded the Senate, the voice of the people." Except, as we all know, the dissolution of the Imperial Senate only occured shortly before the Battle of Yavin, and the Alliance was formed before that.
