Human

Are we sure he is human?Obiwan3000 03:02, 4 January 2009(UTC)

  • Nevermind. I actually read the article.Obiwan3000 03:06, 4 January 2009 (UTC)

What is Darth Sion's role in the Mandalorian War?

Sion was a powerful Sith Marauder in both Exar Kun's Sith Empire and Darth Revan's Sith Empire. What was he doing between the two conflicts and durring the Mandalorian War? --Bron Hañda 19:49, 16 March 2009 (UTC)

  • Unknown and it's Sion, not Soin. Admiral Paul 19:44, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

Funny Name

At Moses time, Jerusalem was named Sion.

Darth Sion's Past Revealed

Darth Sion is actually Lucien Draay in the KOTOR Comics. Read issues 34 and 35.

Haazen gives him the name of Sion. Lucien later says how Betrayal and Fury sustain him. And he calls himself the Lord of Pain!!!

---by Anas Khan from India

  • No. Read it more carefully. He actually denies it. Also, Knights of the Old Republic Campaign Guide has him to be active long before Lucien. Read the first paragraph of Sion's biography. Also, this is the word of the author himself. --Darth Paulus 20px (May the Force serve you well!) 11:50, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
  • Here's something that I think needs explaining: technically, Haazen came up with the name Darth Sion, as he was thinking of possible names to give to Lucien. This would mean that only he, Lucien, Zayne, and possibly Gryph have heard that name. As of issue 35, Haazen is dead, and according to JJM, Lucien has been denied the role of the Lord of Pain. This only leaves Zayne and Gryph to ever really use it, and Sion is obviously not a Snivvian, so wouldn't that only leave Zayne or Haazen as possibilities? This is not meant to be speculation, just logic that can be considered. If you have an opinion, please post a reply.216.195.184.65 11:22, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
    • NOWHERE is stated that Haazen actually INVENTED that name... It is possible he heard it during the Great Sith war, where the REAL Darth Sion fought.--Darth Paulus 20px (May the Force serve you well!) 11:17, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
    • Just wanted to point out Haazen's play on words. The name he suggests for Lucien, he says, should be "something for the illusions under which you have lived." Keeping in mind that "Lucien" is pronounced LOO-shun, the name progression goes: Lucien > Illusion > Sion. Haazen came about the name by his own devices, none of which are related to the TSL Darth Sion. Responding to reader questions at the end of issue #36 of the KotOR comic series, Dark Horse assistant editor Freddye Lins also confirms that Lucien is not Darth Sion.--Trajec 10:36, October 6, 2009 (UTC)

More speculation, but still open...

I just wanted to point out that the Knights of the old republic campaign guide is not complete and/ or completely accurate. The editors and writers wrote down the wrong information on Kreia/ Darth Treya in PUBLISHED form. This could also be the case with Sion.

Even though Lucien might not be Sion in the comics YET, it doesn't mean that the creators of the comic series don't have the carblanche to make Lucien into Sion LATER. The reasoning on this is that the information is very vague about his past on event and kept open. Even though it SAYS hes a sith marauder, as I pointed out, could be changed and added as just speculation to his past instead of actual historical reference. Basically, it was rumored that was his past and the comic would want it to be different for one reason or another. - Master Tomla.

  • Lucien isn't Sion. -- I need a name (Complain here) 17:31, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

Reference in Episode 3?

Darth Sidious mentioned something about a Sith who could keep people alive. If it's not a reference to Sion then who is it?

  • Darth Plagueis. He says his name quite clearly too. --Redemption25px(Talk) 06:03, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

Sion CG Backstory / KotOR II: TSL Loading Screen

Others may disagree, but I think there should be at least a mention of the fact that the KotOR CG backstory for Sion has not taken all the information given in KotOR II: TSL into account. In particular, this line from a loading screen:

From the teachings of the Trayus Academy, Sion learned pain, Nihilus learned hunger, and Traya learned betrayal... and then was betrayed in turn.

I can't really blame Abel (I think he wrote Sion's entry?) for missing it, as it doesn't necessarily appear, but I do think that it was heavily implied through the game anyway. I mean, given the emphasis on the Mandalorian Wars and Malachor V giving rise to the TSL breed of Sith, I have to admit that I find making Sion a product of the Great Sith War (and especially having him develop his 'immortality' on his own) an odd decision even without the above quote. Uli Talk 02:15, September 11, 2009 (UTC)

Thinking about it, however, it doesn't state that Sion "dies" for the first time in the Great Sith War, so there's leeway. I wouldn't be surprised, actually, if the reference to the GSW was supposed to be to the JCW, especially given that Abel has said that he was always very careful not to call Kun's Brotherhood an Empire. Hmm. I might ask him over in his A&A thread. Uli Talk 02:20, September 11, 2009 (UTC)

Lucien...?

If Lucien Draay ISN'T Darth Sion, why is the info about him in the Biography section? Dewback rancher 02:15, September 19, 2009 (UTC)

Is Sion a Dark Lord of the Sith?

Upon looking over his Article, Kriea's, and Nihilus' it is possible Sion was a Dark Lord alongside Nihilus. After they both turned on Kriea who was head of the Sith Triumvirate and de facto Dark Lord, Nihilus proclaimed himself Dark Lord of the Sith. He had his fleet to command, but Sion also had Sith assassins striking from Korriban and Malachor V. Is it possible Darth Sion was Dark Lord of the Sith concurrently with Nihilus? --Soldierx1967 12:39, October 4, 2009 (UTC)

  • I think it's all a matter of perspective. After removing Kreia from the Triumvirate, Nihilus acted as figurehead, for lack of a better word, while Sion went on his mission to destroy the Jedi, and subsequently his hunt for the Exile. All three were considered Dark Lords of the Sith at the time, but with the dissolution of the Triumvirate, Nihilus technically held the mantle.--Trajec 14:14, October 8, 2009 (UTC)

Sion never worked with Exar Kun's

I dont think Sion was at Exar Kun's Service because it was long before he even become a Jedi. From the comic we know that his father died while the Jedi fought the Kun's menace, and lucien was, yet, a child by that time. —Unsigned comment by Darth Agonny (talk • contribs)

  • KoTOR Campaign Guide disagrees. And Lucien isn't Sion either. -- I need a name (Complain here) 15:06, November 11, 2009 (UTC)

It was meant to seem that way as a lead in for people that Wanted it a bit of a red herring kind of thingSargeLIVES 04:41, December 11, 2009 (UTC)

Recently a new KOTOR render replaced an old screenshot in the infobox. However, the lack of background and the odd angle made me miss the old and more remarkable image. So, please look at them both and tell me which one you would like to use: MauserComlink 20:22, November 18, 2009 (UTC) File:Darth Sion.jpg|Old image File:Darthsionheadshot.jpg|New image

masochist

would sion be considered a masochist? if so should this be added? (for those who don't know masochism is the love of pain) Flamingfool719 04:30, November 29, 2009 (UTC)

  • No, there's no indication Sion liked pain. He simply used it as power. - Lord Hydronium 21:16, November 29, 2009 (UTC)

Databank

Why is Sion in the SW.com Databank but not Traya, Nihilus, or Revan?--Darth Dan 012 16:42, August 6, 2010 (UTC)
