Christophsis and Prequel

Christophsis is on this episode! Watch the 'top 10 villains' on the Cartoon Network site, Christophsis is in the background. The prequel is stated on the season 1 box set The Hidden Enemy featurette. I'm gonna add this so if anyone wants to delete it explain why please. Unsigned comment by JamieJ (talk • contribs)

  • Just so I understand this - This episode is stated to be a prequel to an episode that aired last season? And really, it shouldn't be added that it is a prequel to the movie, since the whole series ties into the movie. Lastly, could you provide a link to the site where it shows Christophsis? I would really like to have all of this straightened out, otherwise I will undo the edit again. Thanks. Cylka-talk- 22:04, March 6, 2010 (UTC)
    • Unless it is directly confirmed (which it currently is not from any official sources), neither the appearance of Christophsis or the episode's standing as a prequel to the film and "The Hidden Enemy" are confirmed. CC7567 (talk) 22:05, March 6, 2010 (UTC)

If you watch the video on Cartoon Network you can clearly see the same markings on the planet, nobody had jumped out and said it is but if nobody says battle droid in an episode we still add that. I suppose I could be wrong about the prequel thing, it's just 90% likely due to the Season 1 box set. I will just add the Christophsis thing for now, that is clearly seen. http://www.cartoonnetwork.com/tv_shows/starwars/index.html Go on videos and it's at the end. • It does not matter what promotional videos show Christophsis. If the episode isn't even referenced, then there is no way that the appearance is confirmed. Kindly stop adding fanon to the site. CC7567 (talk) 08:41, March 7, 2010 (UTC)

Since this is becoming silly, just adding and removing the same thing I will respect your opinion and leave it unchanged, the episode will be released in a couple of weeks anyway so it will be written then if it's true. JamieJ 08:45, March 7, 2010 (UTC)

The episiode guide confirms it. TallJediKnight(talk) 13:02, March 27, 2010 (UTC)

Remove TVB website source?

The TVB broadcaster's website seems to have removed all of the data pages associated with Star Wars: The Clone Wars characters, vehicles, etc. I believe this may constitute an obsolete source if TVB willingly removed the content of these pages, which would in turn necessitate the removal of the source and resourcing of the article content. Even if the pulling of the data pages' content was not willingly done, the lack of content makes sourced content in this article unverifiable without an archive backup of the source site, which would make that an invalid source requiring removal. --R.Werner 07:40, March 23, 2010 (UTC)

Kep-She,

Someone add Kepshe

Erodis appearance?

Does the gas giant world Erodis actually appear in this episode? We see Christophsis and its moon; however, there doesn't seem to be any visual of Erodis in the episode nor is it mentioned in dialogue or the episode guide. Therefore, unless someone can show proof otherwise, Erodis should not be listed as appearing in the episode.--R.Werner 20:51, March 28, 2010 (UTC)

Prequel to The Hidden Enemy?

Despite claims to fanon, I feel that this episode is clearly a prequel to The Hidden Enemy and The Clone Wars. I have many reasons for this theory:

  • Anakin is working with Admiral Ylaren for what appears to be the first time gauging from their conservation.
  • There seems to be no obvious reference to a previous campaign at Christophsis
  • Asoka is nowhere and is not mentioned the entire episode
  • The is an Anakin and Obi-Wan episode, which are not very common post-Asoka

I will note, however, that its production number is 2.17, which suggests if it is a prequel it was designed to be such. If anyone has any other input, especially official insight, it should be noted now. Derek Whaley 03:51, March 30, 2010 (UTC)

Alright, it is officially a prequel to the entire series thus far. The episode guide at Star Wars.com says:
Chronologically, this episode precedes all the others that have been broadcast thus far. "Cat and Mouse" is followed by Season One's "The Hidden Enemy" and then an episode originally titled "The New Padawan" that was re-edited into The Clone Wars feature film.
Anyone willing to edit the article?

Question about Canonicity of content of the episode

Hello,

Why don't Skere Kaan, the Brotherhood of Darkness, the New Sith Wars (with the battles of Ruusan), the Sith Dreadnaught cruiser, etc ... not become Canon? According to what is marked on Wookieepedia, these names were mentioned in the episode The Cat and the Mouse of The Clone Wars in a datascreen, so they should be Canon, shouldn't they? As far as I know, The Clone Wars is a Canon series (and also Legends)?

SpiritingIs (talk) 20:37, December 26, 2019 (UTC)

  • I do not see in this page what could answer my question ..

SpiritingIs (talk) 11:35, December 27, 2019 (UTC)

  • "In the event an Expanded Universe subject appears or is mentioned in a new canon story, that subject becomes official canon once again. However, that does not necessarily mean that the subject's entire previous Expanded Universe history regains canon status. Wookieepedia contributors must take care to treat as canon only elements of a subject presented within the confines of new canon source material." As far I remember those were just easter eggs, they aren't meant to be canon.--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 01:21, December 29, 2019 (UTC)
