Republic Captain
This needs to be fixed up a little bit. From what I understand Cassus killed the Republic Captain during the Mandalorian Wars. If I can find the whole story of the battle then I'll do it myself.--Darth Nuke 04:39, 3 Aug 2005 (UTC)
Armor and Blaster image
Can someone get pictures of his armor and blasters from Knights of the Old Republic? I'd do it myself but I don't think you guys want some crappy digital camera image of a tv screen :) I don't have the cables to take a screen shot from the xbox. Perhaps someone with the PC version? I think, even though the armor was a pinkish/purple it looked really awesome. It would be a great picture to put up here. Sorry I can't do it myself. --DannyBoy7783 19:34, 10 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- Cassus' armor actually isn't the purple one, but that silvery one with bits of tan and red. - Lord Hydronium 22:09, 15 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- I've played KotOR about 6 times pal. I know which armor is Fett's.--DannyBoy7783 22:22, 15 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- Maybe it's different on the Xbox then, because I just loaded it up on the PC and looked at it. - Lord Hydronium 22:24, 15 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- Take a screen shot and upload it here and let's see it.--DannyBoy7783 22:25, 15 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- Even if you are correct, that doesn't make me wrong. It just means the game designers made a change for the PC version. That doesn't exclude the xbox versions validity. So we would post both. Though I need proof. With all the mods out there for KotOR I wouldn't trust anything at face value. I could see (and certainly understand) a fan making a mod for Cassus Fett's armor that wasn't pink because it look silly. But that would be fanon and wouldn't belong here. When I say upload it here, I mean the talk page first please not the main article page.--DannyBoy7783 22:29, 15 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- I'll be damned, looks like there are actually two items called "Cassus Fett's Battle Armor" in the game, and only one is actually used in-game. I was looking at the wrong one. Sorry about that. - Lord Hydronium 22:40, 15 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- I had read at www.gamefaqs.com codes page for kotor that you could edit a file for the pc version to give yourself the item. It didn't say what the difference was. Do you know how to take screenshots (not everyone does)? We could include the other version in the behind the scenes section or something. The link is here if you scroll down a bit it will tell you how to give it to your character. Also, while you are at it, could you take a screenshot of Cassus Fett's heavy blaster as well? I'm dying to put it up on his page but no one at the KotOR forum responded to help yet. --DannyBoy7783 22:44, 15 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- Here's Cassus Fett's other armor (I didn't upload it, seeing as how I don't know whether we're going to use it): image shack dot U S )/img191/1125/cassus24il.jpg - Lord Hydronium 22:59, 15 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- That's a great picture! Can you take a better one of the real armor and his blaster? Or perahps a character in the armor with the blaster? That would be kick ass!--DannyBoy7783 23:07, 15 Jan 2006 (UTC)

Human or Mandalorian ?
I know Jango Fett was a human mandalorian,so Cassus Fett was more than likely, a human...But I thought during the Mandolorian Wars, there were only the original Mandolorion species as the mandos....-Stoll7234
- Well Canderous was a human Mandalorian who served in the Mandalorian Wars, so Cassus is still most likely human. DarthMaul431 03:05, 13 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- His descendents were human, so he most likely was as well.--Darth Oblivion 03:10, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
- The Taung began to recruit other species into their culture from the Exar Kun war onwards. By the time of the Jedi Civil War, the Mandalorians were mainly human - the Taungs having been wiped out (or interbred with the human Mandalorians) QuentinGeorge 09:59, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
Darth Oblivion, Fett wasn't a normal surname, like to us humans, it means Cassus is part of Clan Fett. --85.165.203.68 14:03, April 18, 2010 (UTC)
Meaning of name
Since "Cassus" means "empty" and "Casus" means "cause", it seems to me that it would make sense for the name to refer to both meanings, because according to Canderous, Mandalorian bounty hunters and mercs were "empty" of "cause", because they had forgotten their culture. --Logan Felipe 03:38, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
"as a punishment for their participation in the Great Sith War"?
I've followed the Tales of the Jedi series since they started, played the KOTOR games, and following the KOTOR comic series now, but never had I heard of this. Is this verified? If so, then where? SarimThiri 07:24, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

Alrigth thanks. Just thought it sounded weird for the Neos to seek vengence as they praise war, but a source is a source. :-) SarimThiri 23:27, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
aide-de-camp
Why is Cassus Fett Mandalore the Ultimate's aide-de-camp? Isn't Canderous ordo better than Cassus? "I was the best youth warrior of the planet Ordo in my time. "-Canderous Ordo LordDeathRay 03:27, 25 December 2008 (UTC)
- Any answer anyone gives you would be a guess or fanon. "Maybe it was because they battled and...." "Maybe the'y never met." The fact is that it is not known why, if there even is a reason, he was picked over Canderous. NaruHina Talk
03:38, 25 December 2008 (UTC)
Actually, the reason is already there Canderous states he was the best youth warrior in his clan, or on Ordo, as the planet, Fett neither was part of Clan Ordo, neither was he on the planet Ordo. --85.165.203.68 14:01, April 18, 2010 (UTC)
Jango a decendent?
Wasn't he, according to his page, adopted into the Mandalore clans. Wouldn't that just make him part of the Fett Clan rather than a decendant? 64.234.0.101 07:12, August 19, 2010 (UTC)
- Jango was born a Fett, but later became a Mandalorian when he was adopted by Jaster Mereel. He may or may not be a blood descendant of Cassus because of the way Mandalorians define who is family, but Cassus is still Jango's familiar ancestor because they were both part of Clan Fett. Bella'Mia 07:21, August 19, 2010 (UTC)
- So the description on this page isn't really wrong, but misleading? Blagerty 08:44, August 19, 2010 (UTC)
- I wouldn't say it's misleading, but I suppose it depends how you look at it. Because Mandalorians very often adopt, even members of other races, there's a chance that Jango may not be blood related to Cassus. But Star Wars Insider 97 does canonically say that Jango and Boba are Cassus' descendants, though it's unspecific as to whether or not that relation is by blood or adoption. I could see how it could possibly be a little confusing, but Cassus' relation to Jango and Boba is accurately sourced within the article, meaning that's what's been officially signed off on. Bella'Mia 09:14, August 19, 2010 (UTC)
- Not to be rude, but could you provide a quote from Insider 97 that mentions this? I don't have the issue myself, and all I know is that the Kotor CG says that it isn't known whether Cassus is related to Jango or not. I know Mandalorians aren't bound by bloodlines, but when the word descendant is used, it does imply relation. Thanks. Would also be good for future reference for others who don't have the issue and would debate this point. User:SarimThiri-Talk page 16:00, October 1, 2010 (UTC)
