Section 1
I think the quote should be changed. It's not about Carth, it's about Revan. Thoughts? —Unsigned comment by 12.214.173.210 (talk • contribs)
Who was carth's voice actor? that should be added to the BTS section.
- good idea. I'll look it up now.--Xilentshadow900 23:27, 16 Jan 2006 (UTC)
Flashpoint
Apparently, though I haven't read it, there's supposed to be a Carth-a-like in the background of Saul Karath's ship in Knights of the Old Republic 8. Can anyone confirm and scan an image? It'd be great to see, even if it isn't Carth - Kwenn 20:55, 23 September 2006 (UTC)
- Yep. I see it to. Possibly...I put it in the appearances. --RedemptionTalk 15px 01:46, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
- So, now we definitely know that this is Carth? - Sikon 07:43, 2 February 2007 (UTC)

KotOR 3?
you think they'll make a part 3 where Revan and Carth meet again? i hope so... —Unsigned comment by 68.97.81.164 (talk • contribs)
- Havac told me that he heard rumors of a KotOR III on message boards and from friends, so there's probably one on the way. Brain40 10:48, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
- I don't think a forum is the best source to know if their will be a KOTOR III.RushinSundaws 17:09, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
- I was repeating information posted by Leto II, a very reliable TFN poster who says he has a LucasArts contact who has told him that KOTOR III should be announced next spring. As I trust Leto, I think the information is reliable, although I personally cannot confirm it. Havac 19:48, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

Alignment
Is it possible that Carth's alignment is high because he has no connection to the dark side whatsoever, being not force sensitive? It's just speculation, but I think it's a reasonable point. —Unsigned comment by 24.192.93.57 (talk • contribs)
Actually, there's a possibility he could be FS. First off, Kreia indicates that Telos was colonized by people who were FS, but not Jedi material - think Mical. Second, there are several points in the game where his intuition is scarily accurate. Part of it is paranoia, granted, but he tells Revan about having to "make a choice very soon...and there won't be any going back" (the temple top), that "I think some dark fate is waiting for you. I think the Jedi Council knows it, too. I don't want that to come to pass." And when Revan makes a final decision "I told you would have to make a choice soon and that was it - I can feel it!" In K2, if Revan's female, he insists to Exile that he would likewise "know" if Revan were dead. Wishful thinking or is there something to it? Weaker hints? When things work in one's favor despite the odds, the Force is usually at work. What are the odds of being in just the right place for the last escape pod, sharing it with an amnesiac Dark Lord, crashing on the planet without injury, grabbing the odd companion, getting clean away, and just HAPPENING to find a hideout where the landlord won't ask questions? The weakest hint he may be FS, of course, is that Dustil's packing a saber.
- There's an even stronger arguement for Carth being Force sensitive; he's the only non-Jedi member of the party who can see and hear the ghost of Ajunta Pall, according to the core rule book only Force sensitives can perceive Force ghosts. Master Kavar 06:29, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks! Forgot that one until this morning. Yeah, HK sees Pall as a strange reading on his sensors, but Carth apparantly can not only see the ghost clearly, but understand it.
- About Carth's great flukes of luck seen in KotOR I, escaping from this, finding that, etc, I think that's a severe case of the Force looking out for the fool as Obi-Wan Kenobi described Han Solo's feats of luck. Although about the other stuff mentioned, like Carth's precognitions about things, I agree that could be due to him being Force sensitive, which would explain why Dustil is able to become a Sith, unless of course if Carth's wife was a Jedi or something. Being able to understand the spirit of Ajunta Pall must mean that he is Force sensitive though, I don't see anyway around that. It seems like he should be Force sensitive in the way that Han Solo seems he should be. -TheLostJedi 13:19, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
- Umm... HK-47 detects the ghost too, you know... He states that he thinks blaster fire may be ineffective, but that he's willing to try. Xanofar 04:23, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
Moving the image
It just looks ugly this way, especially on lower resolutions. - Sikon 07:46, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
- But hang on, that's not something specific to this article. Nearly every character article we have has images arranged like that. In addition, I dispute the "ugliness"... it looks fine on mine, and I'm running on a fairly standard resolution. QuentinGeorge 07:51, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
- I rearrange images in all articles like that when I come across it. - Sikon 12:10, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
Changing a Paragraph
I propose that we change this paragraph:
Shortly after the Mandalorian Wars, the former Republic hero Revan returned with a Sith armada to battle the Republic. Amongst the Sith forces were legions of treacherous Republic forces, and one name stood out from the rest; Admiral Saul Karath.
Currently, it reads in such a way that implies Karath returned with Revan from the Unknown Regions when this is not the case. Revan returned with his third of the fleet and Karath later (not long after though) defected from the Republic - giving them the "codes to bypass [the Republic's] scanners" in the process. Sources
Does anyone have sources for these lines from the article and Bts?
"He served in the planetary militia and later in the Republic Navy. His first posting was in an orbital watchstation over Serocco."
and
"While a name for Carth's deceased wife is not in the game files, David Gaider, BioWare's writer for the character, gave her name as 'Morgana.'"

- First one is from the KoTOR comics, or at least the serving in the Republic Navy on an orbital watchstation at Serocco bit is. -- I need a name (Complain here) 17:26, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, it looks like someone has sourced that one. I know that the name Morgana is from a post on the Bioware forums, but I can't find the actual post. Sarendipity Talk File:Atrissig.jpg 00:10, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
Inaccuracy
Shortly after the Mandalorian Wars, the former Republic hero Revan returned with a Sith armada to battle the Republic. Amongst the Sith forces were legions of treacherous Republic forces, and one name stood out from the rest; Admiral Saul Karath.[1]
As I mentioned in the "changing the paragraph" section above, this is incorrect as it implies that Saul Karath was with the returning Sith fleet. He wasn't. He defected to the Sith cause shortly after the outbreak of the Jedi Civil War and tried to convince Carth to do the same.
Perhaps it should be changed to, "Soon the legions of Sith forces were joined by even more treacherous Republic servicemen, and amongst these defectors one name stood out from the rest; Admiral Saul Karath"
Or something. (Ulicus 20:22, 22 March 2007 (UTC))
- Sounds good to me. I'll go ahead and change it. Sarendipity Talk File:Atrissig.jpg 00:10, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
Abilites section error?
"...Close encounters that demonstrated his skill included piloting the Ebon Hawk out of the Sith orbital bombardment of TELOS, landing the Hawk safely..."
Shouldnt it be "...out of the Sith obrital bombardment of TARIS..."?
--Ad`nan 01:22, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
the kotor speculation continues
There is a bit of speculation with KOTOR games linked as their source. For instance, saying that he could 'quick draw'. There is also at least one mis-source, the information on his wife's name wasn't in the game, it was from someone behind the game, David Gaider I think. (- -) 23:15, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
Starfighter pilot?
Where was it said that he flew starfighters? I never thought Trask's comment to mean much, and from his position on the Endar Spire it looked more like he was a starship captain than anything else Lalala la 01:21, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
- I don't remember if it was mentioned in either of the games, but in the comics he's a pilot. But on that matter, when is it mentinoed that he's a Commander? There's no source listed. Carter426 07:46, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
- About the first thing Carth tells you in KotOR is that, "I've been a star-pilot for the Republic for years." I always got the impression from that that he meant he flew starfighters at least part of the time, and that his primary position has been 'pilot' of some kind or another. 71.110.172.33 02:24, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
Mandalore Wars
- Ok, my bad - it just struck me as a bit unusual. Are the wars refered to as the 'Mandalore Wars' elsewhere too? --Kessel 22:17, 6 July 2008 (UTC)
- I don't think so. Drewton 20px (Drewton's Holocron) 23:40, 6 July 2008 (UTC)
Abilities Section
Just a small note, but shouldn't the Abilities section be a separate section instead of a sub-section of the P&T section as it is now? I would change it but I want to be sure it wasn't done this way on purpose. JethLordMaster18px (Xia Order) 06:23, June 23, 2010 (UTC)
Force-sensitivity Section?
Is the section about Carth's possible force-sensitivity really necessary? I mean, the whole section is just fan speculation. -TrandoshanMan01 20:56, December 9, 2010 (UTC)
- I agree it should be removed completely. Intuition does not equal Force sensitivity.68.40.151.199 21:41, December 9, 2010 (UTC)
