The Evil Faces

I'm almost certain this episode and the next episode have something to do with Darth Maul and Savage Opress. Should we add them to the characters? --Yo, yo, yo! THIS IS OG LOC IN THE PLACE, BABY! 21:18, December 7, 2011 (UTC)

Removal....

Err...someone just removed the species edits I made and the droid ones....I look hard to find those things and then they just get removed...and it's not like I made it up I saw them with my own eyes. There were too Twi'lek, Gotal, Balnab, Aqualish, Junker, and several others. And there was to a B1 battle droid, in Dooku's palace. At the end of the line of the magnaguards....I don't get why it was removed...just asking...I make a list of appearances for each episode so I can put them in here and it's kind of a waste of time if they just get taken off. Just sayin'. --Lamp774 02:48, March 10, 2012 (UTC)Lamp774

Oh never mind....accident....disregard this... --Lamp774 03:05, March 10, 2012 (UTC)Lamp774

Slightly off the Point

This episode was appalling. I don't agree with re-incarnating Darth Maul anyway, but the plot was awful and so was the appearance and 'performance' of Maul. What has happened to TCW?--Obnoxioussith 13:55, March 10, 2012 (UTC)

  • This is not the place to complain about the episode. The talk page is reserved for changes to the article itself. Thank you. -- Riffsyphon1024 16:13, March 10, 2012 (UTC)

Derrown

Could someone provide the source/confirmation that Derrown appeared in this episode beyond the similarly looking Parwan in the background? Bane7670 18:19, March 10, 2012 (UTC)

  • I'm concerned about that too. If it was Derrown, wouldn't Anakin react to that considering what Derrown did to him in Crisis on Naboo? Maybe they just reused a character model. Because if Derrown did appear, then so did Tiggs Leo and Rang Thang. So maybe we should list Derrown's appearance as possible. (Q)

junker link

the junker link leads to the class of vehicle, not the species, as it should, perhaps that article hasn't been made, but it should be, and I think someone would foolishly delete it if I made it... --Tristan7grunt 19:21, March 10, 2012 (UTC)

Sith Code?

Wasn't the Sith code in the episode? I heard Maul mutter a few lines from it: "my chains are broken" and "peace is a lie". Had to be a shout out, so maybe it should be added to the appearances? Just figure I'd ask before putting it in. RogueJedi86 21:51, March 11, 2012 (UTC)

Part of the Sith code was recited in Altar of Mortis by the Son in is prison creature form right after he released Ahsoka from the chains. --71.212.200.240 15:24, March 12, 2012 (UTC)

Chains

Like said in the old as heck section above me, Darth Maul seems to use the exact same phrase that the Son uses to put pressure on Ahsoka "The chains are the easy part. It's what goes on in here (points at his head) that's hard." as in "I could free myself but after so much time locked up here I went NUTS!/I couldn't free my disturbed mind" I don't think that's part of the Sith Code though, it does mention chains (Through Victory my chains are Broken) but these are clearly the ramblings of a madman.

I think somebody should put that Darth Maul uses the same phrase as the Son in a "Behind the Scenes" or "Trivia" section, at least as an interesting random fact. Urgalak (talk) 14:59, 12 August 2024 (UTC)

Unless such connections/trivia is mentioned or corroborated by a Lucasfilm affiliate, we don't generally include original research facts as such since we can only synthesize the information we have, and such would not normally qualify to be in our behind the scenes sections.spookywillowwtalk 18:06, 2 September 2024 (UTC)
But I'm not making "original research" I just said that
A. Darth Maul repeats the same phrase that the Son says, and
B. The mention of the chains is not a reference to the Sith Code.
I don't need George Lucas to descent from the skies to confirm that what I said is right, lol, is not even a canon thing.
And in any case saying that his mad ramblings are the sith code is more of an "original research"/wild speculation than me saying "hey, two characters say the same thing!"
Urgalak (talk) 10:13, 24 October 2024 (UTC)

Heya; "interesting random facts" are not under Wookieepedia's coverage (WP:TRIVIA; we disallow "Trivia" sections, and as an OOU article, these do not have "Behind the scenes" sections either); our definition of "original research" can be found WP:OR. Essentially, anything that isn't addressed by LFL, even if it's a funny or cute coincidence, is out of our scope and is not what we consider relevant enough for articles. Two characters saying the same thing is irrelevant for the purposes of any Wookieepedia article unless a creator states it was intentional. And if a creator does state something specific was intentional, that has to be referenced properly WP:ATT. "Trivia" and other related things are for other fansites; we're an encyclopedia by nature, and proving the relevancy of information by sourcing it is always the sole burden of the person who adds it; otherwise, anything is liable to be removed, as it was here.spookywillowwtalk 15:16, 24 October 2024 (UTC)
