Move

Shouldn't this be moved to Brianna? --Imperialles 14:50, 1 Jun 2005 (UTC)

  • Yes, I've been thinking that. The only problem is that it's somewhat of a spoiler(if only a minor one) --Fade 15:06, 1 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Birth

Kreia had said she was born a decade before the Mandalorian Wars, can any one aid me in proving this? User:RushinSundaws 10:16, 21 February 2006

The quote you are looking for is this one: "I knew her mother. She was a Jedi Knight - a master, named {ERIN}Arren Kae. Jedi are forbidden to have children, and when the crime finally came to light almost a decade later, Kae was exiled. She joined the Mandalorian Wars after the shame of her birth was revealed. Revan welcomed her. And she was... said to be... a skilled warrior. Beautiful. And strong in the Force. The Force flows strongly in the blood of those born from Force Sensitives. . ." from the KOTOR II dialog file.

The Republic joined the war in 3964-63ish add 10 years and that would but Brianna Kae's birth at 3974-73ish BBY, not 3976 BBY. Unsigned comment by 69.239.61.16 (talk • contribs)

Chris Avellone asked LucasArts and they confirmed she is 25 years old in KotOR II. There is an old post on the Obsidian Forum Boards regarding this. wikia:User:Canderous Ordo 09:14, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

In regards to Redemption's last edit...Brianna's birth date isn't so much fannon as it is speculation. We're not given her exact birth date, but we do know her actual age accurate within the year. All the same, the supposed birth year is probably better as a BTS bullet point if it isn't already. Master Kavar 05:33, 18 January 2007 (UTC)

Quote

Could we maybe get a better quote? Perhaps one that is spoken by Brianna? Dargos 06:07, 26 March 2006 (UTC)

Category:Jedi characters

Should we change the category to Category:Force-sensitive characters in the light of the recent revelation about Exile? - Sikon [Talk] 05:59, 28 June 2006 (UTC)

I agree. Also, I ddid half work on her. Anyone who has played the female Exile and knows better what Brianna did in that case (I don't know if eg. Brianna decided to be a Jedi after the Exile fought with Atris or anything else), please expand. ~~
Brianna basically does nothing in the female ending. She's just one of the Handmaidens. When you return to Telos, you go directly to Atris, while the Handmaidens are for some reason absent. - Sikon [Talk] 12:56, 28 June 2006 (UTC)

Father

I believe Kreia or the Handmaiden said that Brianna was the daughter of some Echani General or Lieutenant. She also uses things such as Echani Strike....

It's All Non-Canon?

Since the Exile is now canonically a female, wouldn't that mean that everything in this article is non-canon? Perhaps this should be noted somewhere. Thunderforge 04:43, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

  • The article says nothing about her traveling with the exile, just that she met her and was a handmaiden of Atris. This is all canonical info. Lonnyd 05:52, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

vandalism

ok this is getting anooying, some guys is keep on dissing the disiple and messing up brianna's page and it looks to be the same guy who did it twice in just a few mintues

  • It's an all too common occurance from a series of vandals who can't seem to accept that the Jedi Exile has been canonically named female for any future IU references. The Jedi Exile article is protected against editing by new users, so they usually seek out other articles instead, such as this one. -- I need a name 19:20, 20 September 2006 (UTC)

nothing in Kotor 2 in canon sadly you find nothing about any person in star wars extend universe. only kotor is charters and history is listed there. Unsigned comment by 70.248.179.75 (talk • contribs)

  • Er, what? Both KOTOR games have the same canon status as most of the EU, whether you want it or not. - Sikon 07:56, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

Appearance/Stealing Ebon Hawk

Brianna looks slightly different than her sisters because she has those two braids hanging from the sides of her head. While on that subject, I think the handmaiden that stole the Ebon Hawk on Telos had no braids when she pulled back her hood, so she was probably one of the other sisters. Brianna is definitely the one who tells the Exile to drop her weapons in the academy though (different voice and the Exile can comment on it to the other handmaidens). --Jedimasterbob 03:17, 1 October 2006 (UTC)

  • You must be mistaken; the game only has three Handmaiden characters: hooded, unhooded, and dark side. Therefore Brianna shares the same character model as all of her sisters. They just have her pull her hood back to distinguish her from the others. Master Kavar 17:00, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
  • Oh. That's weird. I just don't remember seeing her braids when she stole the Ebon Hawk. That's why I assumed she looked slightly different because I assumed her sisters didn't have the braids. I'll go look at a screen shot to make sure it's her. --Jedimasterbob 14:26, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
  • nope, just checked, the one that steals the Ebon Hawk has no braids. It wouldn't take that much to make braids and attach them to Brianna's head anyway.--Jiminy Crickette 12:41, July 2008 (UTC)

Brianna Kae

Should Brianna's surname be Kae? His father was called just Yusanis and her mother Arren Kae, so, in principle, she should take her mother's surname... Battle Surgeon talk

  • Yusanis may well have had a last name that we don't know, so it's ambiguous. Notice that Allana isn't called Allana Solo, either. - Sikon 16:23, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
    • Yeah, true. However, in my opinion, if any subsequent information does not contradict the old one I think we should assume what we know (furthermore, there are a lot of one-named characters). And in Allana's case (I can't say very much because I did not read any book where she mades an appearance :P) I would apply the same reasoning and say that, in principle, her true name should be Allana Solo (just if nothing contradicts it). But it is just an opinion ;) Battle Surgeon talk
      • I don't see why Brianna would take her mothers surname since the whole tradition of the mother taking her husbands name and as a result her children would take it (or even if the father and mother weren't married, typically the surname is of the father). Also, Brianna grew up with her sisters, the daughters of Yusanis so it can be assumed that she'd taken his name. If Yusanis had a surname that came up, we'd probably move Brianna to that but he doesn't and as a result, Brianna doesn't either. Despite the fact that her mother does. --RedemptionRedemptionusersymbolTalk 18:15, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
        • That's ok. My "surname policy" is a bit divergent, but I accept it if everybody does ;) Battle Surgeon talk

More images

  • Doesn't anybody have a screenshot of Brianna dressed as a dancer? I think that image would look nice at the Behind the Scenes section! Or maybe upload another canon or non-canon image for make the article better... -Lord Hammu
A few images would be good, I just don't have the time to do it myself right now. Brianna vs. Atris and the dancer outfit like you suggested would work, and a picture of her dark side clothes. Master Kavar 02:57, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
I Uploaded this one, is that okay?-Kex Deltin 14:54, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

There is very little on the dark side story for her and as I only saw the ultra psycotic darkside I know precious little of it myselfSargeLIVES 00:21, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

      • I believe gameplay description that is currently in BTS should be also put in the main article, with the exception of the romance story of course. Mauser 05:46, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
        • I'm not so sure it's time for that; Star Wars Miniatures has made mistakes before. Can we get any sort of confirmation from Mr. Chee before we completely declare that the video game, which inspired this story in the first place, cannot possibly be a canonical interpretation of events due to it being trumped by a tabletop game's interpretation? Star Wars Minis also depicts Kreia as holding a double-bladed lightsaber with her one hand. -BaronGrackle 13:42, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
          • Knights of the Old Republic Campaign Guide, in Brianna's biography on pg. 210, states "At Master Atris' request, she steals the Ebon Hawk, forcing the Exile to come to Telos IV to retrieve it. She travels with the Exile all the way to Malachor V." jSarek 14:04, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
            • Then so it is. So, should we say that all the other stuff happened? The hand-to-hand combat training on the Ebon Hawk? Her role in the confrontation with Atris? We're no longer within the realm of "best possible light side ending", is why I ask. -BaronGrackle 16:47, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
      • I suppose that all the things that could have happened with the male exile, did - it's the only fair way to decide what we should add, and it's what we've been doing for the rest of the article. This also means that she should be considered as a possible canon romance, though take care to mention that this does indeed only occur for the male Exile in-game, and that a relationship with the female Exile is speculation, not fact. --Kessel 21:35, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
        • The romance section is already speculative even for the male version of the Exile. I don't think there's any reason to think there was a romance with the female Exile, any more than with Visas Marr. -BaronGrackle 19:12, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
      • Why not? I'd rather have the full range of possibilities than the pick and mix we currently have. Either that, or we scale what is on the Brianna page back to only what is stated in the Campaign Guide. In any case, I don't think a restructuring of that section is in order: just an indication that the same may have been true of the female Exile. It is after all a behind the scenes subtopic; not in the main section. --Kessel 22:30, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
        • On a side note - the Saga CG does mention something about Atton and Mical having feelings for the Exile, but nothing of that sort in relation to Brianna or Visas. So including the speculation of those two being romantic interests- even in Bts - is silly. Haing romantic interests for both female and male player characters is standard game mechanics, if there is going to be a romance plot. Female Exile is canon, lets just stick with female romantic interests and not muddy things. * Cylka * 13:05, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
  • perhaps they mean that Brianna still stowed aboard the Ebon Hawk but just hid there the whole time.
    • In the F-X version, the Handmaidens (all of them) are unaccounted for upon the return to the Academy. DAWUSS 04:12, October 28, 2009 (UTC)

WTF stuff

Since all this stuff about traveling with the exile is suddenly canon, why not add an image of Brianna in her jedi robes, there's one in the Arren Kae section.

Revan

Due to Brianna's family history with Revan, do you suppose she would have forgiven him for what he has done? I mean, it is possible that she did, isn't it? 70.188.129.194 19:56, 14 February 2009 (UTC)

Does she join the Jedi Order?

Since the Jedi Exile is a female, does Brianna join the recreated Jedi Order with the Exile's companions? ––Bron Hañda 18:03, 16 March 2009 (UTC)

  • Yes, it has been confirmed that Brianna is one of the Exile's companions. That she only joins a male Exile in the video game, is due to game mechanics. Cylka-talk- 18:11, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
    • That she becomes a companion to the female exile does not automatically mean that she becomes a jedi. The KotOR campaign guide did not establish that. Jediphile 19:03, December 13, 2009 (UTC)

A lot of presumptions

This article makes a lot of presumptions about Brianna. It's true that she joins the exile, teaches him Echani fighting moves, and probably becomes a jedi if the exile is lightsided, but note that this all happens in the game solely if the jedi exile is male. Since the canon exile is female, we cannot know that, as the KotOR campaign guide only established that she travelled with the exile to Malachor V. It does not establish that Brianna sparred with the exile or became a jedi. After all, when Brianna spars with the male exile, Atton implies that this is not merely training but an expression of Brianna's romantic feelings toward the exile. I don't think we can assume those for the female exile, and since that sparring is mandatory for turning Brianna into a jedi, I don't think we can presume that either. We need another canon source to establish that first. So I suggest this article needs a major rewrite. A lot of the entries are "fruits of a poisonous tree" in the sense that is presumes Brinna following the female exile means all the events of the non-canonical male exile's story in the game also happened for the female exile. For example, the quote under "Travels with the exile" is spoken directly to the male exile as an expression of her feelings toward him. Thus it seems highly inappropriate to cite is as a canonic quote. Jediphile 14:47, December 13, 2009 (UTC)

  • All of the issues you cite only occur for even the male Exile with 100% completion. Since we are sure Brianna followed the female Exile during the course of her journey, all non-romance related events can also fall under the completion tag. While you are correct in saying we shouldn't assume Brianna sparred with the female Exile, we have no reason to assume she didn't either. As such, the completion tag is sufficient in this case. I'm confused

I thought that the Exile is a woman in canon. But I've read that Handmaiden still joins her. This can't happen in the game though. So this means that when playing the game, we never really can get the "Full" story without multiple playhtoughs? 166.137.88.176 18:00, November 17, 2012 (UTC)

As you might see from Bts, other sources than the game verified her joining the party. (: – Tm_T@Wookieepedia:~$ 19:27, November 17, 2012 (UTC)
