Name?
Why is this at 5052 rather than Bly? QuentinGeorge 05:44, 5 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Agreed. Though I'm all for character articles going under birth names, they probably shouldn't be listed under birth *numbers* - they're completely unmemorable and ambiguous. When a clone has a name, we should use it, even if it's only a nickname; when they're nameless, they should probably be designated with more than just their number ("Clone 5052" or "Clonetrooper "5052" or somesuch) to avoid ambiguity. jSarek 06:12, 5 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- I hate Bly... I just hate him! He killed Aayla!

Appearances over Sources
Bly has not appeared in many sources, and each one was used when writing this article. Why make the switch? --SparqMan 23:30, 26 Aug 2005 (UTC)
Image
Can anyone find a better image of Commander Bly? Just an image where he's the only thing in it, like a picture from starwars.com or something. Cmdr. J. Nebulax 22:37, 15 Sep 2005 (UTC)
- Done. MarcK 22:57, 15 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Saleucami
Can someone with the Star Wars Republic: The Siege of Saleucami comics add in Bly's role in them? Danke. --SparqMan 07:07, 29 Oct 2005 (UTC)
Insider 84
The Guide to the Grand Army of the Republic calls Bly "CT-80/88-2199"; was this his original name and then he was "promoted" and thus got a new number, or did someone just not have their facts straight? --MarcK [talk] 03:35, 16 Nov 2005 (UTC)
- That cannot be official information. No gives a clone trooper one number and then, when that clone becomes a commander, changes their number. I say put it in the "Behind the Scenes" section, where it should remain. Cmdr. J. Nebulax 20:51, 16 Nov 2005 (UTC)
Battlefront II
Was he in BF2? I'm not sure. --DarthCow--Talk| Email

Triva Section
The second image linked to in the trivia section [[Media:ROTS ICS Bly.jpg]] doesn't seem to be of Bly - note the lack of macrobinocular attachment on the helmet. Looks more like one of his command squad - they wear the same modifications to their armour as Bly, only sans helmet attachment. I say this section be removed from the article. SolusKad 00:14, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
- No. While that image doesn't show Bly, what is says there could be true. Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- Yeah, Bly's helmet has yellow trim completely along the jawline on the bottom of his helmet. Sadriel Fett (Mando'a) 02:39, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
- Well, I removed it because the yellow seems to be denoting the rank of commander, meaning that the Phase I ranking systems was still in use in the early days of the use of the Phase II armor. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

- If you wanted to keep it on here, we could reference it as one of his Star Corps troops under his command? Maybe something about Bly having his troops also use the same type of ARC style mods? Just a thought. Sadriel Fett (Mando'a) 02:25, 13 June 2006 (UTC)
- You mean the picture not of Bly? That could go on the 327th Star Corps article. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision)

Pic
Could we get a picture of Bly from Evasive Action? I think it would be good to see what he looked like following the end of the Republic.--CT-5619 helmet comlink 16:18, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
- Well we're not really allowed, since it's Hyperspace material - \\Captain Kwenn// — Ahoy! 16:21, 31 December 2006 (UTC)

Mutiny, Mr. Christian?
Could his name have been influenced by Captain Bligh of the HMS Bounty?
retirement?
Does bly ever retire from the empire? if not, does he wear ordinary stromtrooper armor?
- As a featured article, this article contains all the canon information there is on him. If it's not there, it's not known. - Lord Hydronium 02:55, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
So he dosent die? its been awhile now, plus his accelrated growth.
what about the twitter for him? it was related to the death troopers thing. it ended with "the enemy" (the zombies) battering down the doors for the bridge and him saying "this ought to be fun... " and nothing after that. if the twitters are counted as canon then hes daffinatally dead. 69.115.204.217 19:12, July 21, 2010 (UTC)
Phase 1 pic
Is there a picture that has Bly wearing his Phase 1 helmet? Since if there is one, it could be put somewhere on this page JediCommando 17:43, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
Tatoo
The Clone Wars episode Jedi Crash depicts Bly with yellow facial markings. Hasn't Bly been depicted around Ep3 time with no facial tattoos? If that's the case, must we consider the yellow markings to be simply war paint, or is tatoo removal an simple, effective practive in the GFFA?Gry Sarth 19:02, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
Infobox image
I was just thinking, shouldn't we put The Clone Wars-style image of Bly in the infobox? Not only it would be the most canonical image of his face, but I'm also sure it'll look better. Mauser 16:38, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
- Seconded, especially considering that it seems to be a slightly retconned portrayal.
Decoded Slip
In 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars' Decoded episode 13 'Jedi Crash' in the sence where Ahsoka Tano, Wag Too, and Commander Bly pass by the trees that dropped seedpods on the earilier group. Commander Bly is mistaken for Captain Rex. --JMasterWor 19:25, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
Twitter Account
OK, so I just came across this on Twitter ([Bly5052 on Twitter]), which mentions that he, along with Cody and Delta Squad arrived onboard Vector (obviously following Death Troopers). Is this a canon thing? Should this stuff be added to the appropriate pages? TIEPilot051999 05:35, October 17, 2009 (UTC)
- No-no-no-no-no! It's an account of a TFN user, who decided to play alongside Lucasfilm's campaign to promote the Death Troopers. In no way should it be treated as canon. MauserComlink 12:26, October 17, 2009 (UTC)
- *epic facepalm of shame* I'm so stupid... TIEPilot051999 15:25, October 17, 2009 (UTC)
