I think this means the blaster shotgun of Battlefront 2, or the CR-1 blaster cannon. I think we should redirect it to shotgun. — Aiddat (Holonet) (Contribs Log) 13:58, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
- The Rebel version (actually the CR-1 linked above) is called "Shotgun" in-game, while the Imperial one is a "Blast Cannon", which is a different type of weapon than the generic blaster cannon. The CIS and Republic versions are both "Shotguns" (and are E-5 and DC-15 variants respectively). I think "shotgun" is possibly a more generic title (since Republic Commando also features shotguns) while "blast cannon" is a specific type of shotgun-style weapon. The CR-1 is a particular model of blast cannon. If everyone's OK with that distinction, we should keep the pages as they are, but ensure they all link to each other - \\Captain Kwenn// — Ahoy! 16:33, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
- Agreed. I've already touched up the article slightly, and I'm looking for other articles to link. Jorrel Fraajic 16:37, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
*a little help
now can sum1 link the swbf elite squad in appearances to the actual swbf elite squad article.... ----TheRealLukeSkywalker
- Already taken care of. For future reference, to link to something, just enclose it in [[ ]], for example [[Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron]] will produce Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron. Trak Nar Ramble on 07:14, July 26, 2011 (UTC)
Possible official name?
According to the weapon's page on the Battlefront wiki, it's called the E-11E blast cannon. I don't know if it's just a fanon name or if it comes from an official source like the manuals or strategy guides. Can anyone else help me out here? Valiran (talk) 00:10, April 5, 2020 (UTC)
