Class Names
It's a nightmare trying to refer to KotOR era starships by class names. The closest thing you get is either named ships (Endar Spire, Leviathan) or Sith fighter as the official name for...Sith fighters. Everything else is left completely nameless. Anyone know of any concept art or anything where these things are labelled? Surely Bioware's developers must have come up with names for all the different ships they came up with; 2 different classes of Republic corvette type things, two different fighters, one type of Sith capital ship, a Sith fighter, and one other type of spacecraft (whose function is totally unknown) all without names. Madness! --Fade 18:17, 13 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Ask around on forums.bioware.com. Tell them Silly Dan sent you. I suspect that they didn't come up with too many specific ship names, since you only get to operate the gun turrets on the Ebon Hawk. Silly Dan 18:24, 13 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- No official names at all, though the Endar Spire is referred to by fans as a Hammerhead corvette, and the Ebon Hawk may possibly be part of the HWK-class freighter line of which the Moldy Crow is part - Kwenn
- I've read that Hammerheads were Corellian Engineering Corporation FR-5 Republic Frigate, the blockade runners were Corellian Engineering Corporation GN-2 Republic Gunship, the regular fighters were Kuat Systems Engineering W-Wing Interceptor, and the B-Wing looking ones were Korpil Light Engineering L-Wing Assault Starfighters. But the source isn't creditable since I'm reading them off of SWGB Heavens forums. Redemption
- Sounds good (I'd assume that if they're ever named, they'll be called something similar) but those designations are definately fanon - Kwenn
- How about using them as placeholders until the official names are known? Wookieepedia does it frequently, like the Children of the Green Planet article for example. It's different that adopting fanon, since the actual ships exist. MoffRebus 14:00, 13 Dec 2005 (UTC)

I've heard that the regular fighters in the Republic Navy are A-Wings.
Well the Hammerhead Article says that Hammerheads are made by Rendlli Stardrive.Starwarsrulez 02:10, 16 March 2007 (UTC)

Battle of...
The New Essential Chronology calls this the Battle of Rakata Prime; I think that's the first official name we've had for this battle. So should we move this page to that name? - Kwenn
- Definitly. Since this is the first time the battle has actually been named in a book. Redemption

For the presumably largest battle in the Jedi Civil War, how many ships were involved, compared to the Battle of Endor or Battle of Coruscant (Clone Wars)? Gwai Lo 19:42, 3 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- If we knew, that info had been put in the article long ago. Judging by the cutscenes, not that many. - Sikon [Talk] 14:13, 13 Dec 2005 (UTC)
- If he knew how many capital ships there were it would be easier. I remember only seeing a few so probably only a fraction of the battle of endor. --Dumac 22:44, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
- Well they say in the game the entire Republic fleet is there. Though in most of the cutscenes there doesn't seem to be that many ships. Though you see more Hammerheads during the bombardment of the star forge than in the cutscenes. In the dark side ending there are MANY Interdictors, way more ships than in the Battle of Endor.Starwarsrulez 01:57, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
- Just so you know, 1) the dark side ending is non-canon. 2) Even if it were, we have know way of knowing how long a gap there was between the battle and that cutscene. Jasca Ducato Sith Council Sith Campaign 21:09, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
Lehon?
Since Darth Bane: Path of Destruction names Rakata Prime as Lehon (and Leland Chee has confirmed that's the correct name) should this be moved to Battle of Rakata Prime? Or should we leave it here, since it appears to be known only as "Battle of Rakata Prime" in-universe? (NEC) There's no source that states it was actually referred to as "Battle of Rakata Prime", same as we still have Rakata system - Kwenn 05:49, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
- Battle of Rakata Prime. .... 10:40, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
- It should stay at its canonical name. QuentinGeorge 10:46, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
- It was only known IU as the Battle of Rakata Prime, so it should stay. Darth Abeonis Sith Council (Sith Campaign) 13:36, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

How many Ships?
According to many sources about the Interdictor class cruiser and the "Hammerhead"republic warships, the two main warships that perticipated in the battle of Rakata Prime, the sith Interdictor cruiser is far superior in firepower, size, and defense. And in the battle of Rakata Prime, the Republic was obviously outnumbered because of Malak's comment that "With Bastila on our side and" then he goes on to talk about his massive unbeatable fleet. So, excactly how many of those "Hammerheads did the Republic have to haul through hyperspace to atleast challenge the sith fleet?-Nickbuffington 6:38 AM

Was the Sith fleet really stronger in this battle?
In the Dark Side ending, Bastila claims that if she doesn't use her Battle Meditation, the Republic would destroy the Star Forge. Also, if you end up killing Bastila in the light side path, the Republic also ends up winning. I think this could go to show that perhaps the Republic was able to drag so many ships in for the attack that even the Sith defenses were no match for them. - lalala_la
- It's only game mechanism to provide an explanation as to why she cannot follow you. In case you haven't noticed, all circumstance in a LucasArts game is against the player. - TopAce 10:57, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
- A reason for the darkside ending- the republic has better strategies than the sith and since the sith lost admiral karakth and vandar was advising Dodonna the republic fleet could probably get enough ships through the battle to bomb the star forge. For the lightside ending- the sith were probably depending on Bastila's Battlemeditation and once they lost it and without a leader they were thrown into chaos. BTW if they are coming up with reasons to leave Bastila behind, then why does your other party member just stand there and let you leave without saying anything? Starwarsrulez 02:04, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
- The Sith military was comprised of all hardened veterans from the Mandalorian Wars, so you can't say that they lacked strategy, even without Karath around. Compounded with the fact that the Republic still hands it to the Sith if Bastila is killed and there's no Battle Meditation for anyone, it does make you wonder Lalala la 08:18, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
Apprentices
How is there only 1 sith apprentice? In the game there is a limitless amount of sith apprentices, not counting the dark jedi. User:1705jallen
Rakata Prime/Lehon?
Mentioned before, but not recently. Rakata Prime is a nickname that was given to the planet known as Lehon, much like Unknown World perhaps? Lehon is the actual, native name of the planet, so would it be more appropriate? Also, is anyone trying to re-GA the article? I would like to volunteer, just don't want to go cross-purposes. Ermol7 (talk) 23:40, January 22, 2013 (UTC)
- The lack of a {{Conjecture}} tag indicates that it was called the "Battle of Rakata Prime" somewhere in canon. Do not change it to Lehon. NaruHina Talk
