Luke adherent to the Barash vow

Wouldn't Luke Skywalker be an adherent to the Barash Vow during his exile on Ahch-To?--Jkirk8907 (talk) 18:55, 26 September 2023 (UTC)

  • It hasn't been confirmed he took the vow Lewisr (talk) 18:59, 26 September 2023 (UTC)

What counts as a full appearance?

I'm a little confused by what's being counted as full appearances here. As I understand it, the Barash Vow is not a one-time thing you say, it is a code or a way of life that you adhere to. But it's also not a literal code made up of words like the Jedi code, it is an action. Therefore, shouldn't every time we see someone who is taking the Barash Vow count as a full appearance, like we do with Kirak Infil'a? I also don't see how the vow gets a full appearance for The Blade 4 and not Into the Dark when we get basically the same type of scene of someone deciding to take it and leave in both. • ACOLYTE SPOILERS Adding more credence to the idea that seeing people who have taken the vow counts as a full appearance, the trivia gallery for the Acolyte episode "Revenge / Justice" states that the Barash Vow "is seen here for the first time in live action" Panther436 RedNihilEye (talk) 18:10, 5 June 2024 (UTC)
    • We also have Charles Soule saying on Twitter "This the first time folks saw the Barash Vow, in Darth Vader #2" with the picture of Kirak that's on the article Panther436 RedNihilEye (talk) 18:16, 5 June 2024 (UTC)
      • Just to note that SW.com also says it was first mentioned in the Vader series, which would have created a strange inconsistency on how one is a mention vs an appearance. But since Soule says it appeared in Vader then I'm fine with removing the Mo's Lewisr (talk) 05:20, 8 June 2024 (UTC)
      • Chiming in that did remove ITD because it does clearly on-screen depict him leaving the Order and did remove the episode Mo due to the trivia gallery. And going to act on the above.spookywillowwtalk 05:22, 8 June 2024 (UTC)
      • Yeah I would agree that seeing people actively following the vow counts as an appearance. Rsand 30 (talk) 14:38, 8 June 2024 (UTC)
