Merge

Regarding the merge...I'm not sure. It definitely is an "evacuation," but it contradicts the multiple sources that feature the Evacuation of Yavin&mash;namely Dodonna escaping. Corellian PremierRobotechAll along the watchtower 21:43, July 6, 2012 (UTC)

Why is the content from Star Wars: X-Wing not included?

In the PC game Star Wars: X-Wing you fly an escort mission to defend five rebel corvettes while Imperial Assault Gunboats blow away a trio of BFF-1 bulk freighters. Why ignore this source of information? --209.179.108.185 20:25, January 10, 2013 (UTC)

I didn't even know that that mission was even related to this mission. Actually, that was the first I've heard of that mission. Weedle McHairybug (talk) 20:32, January 10, 2013 (UTC)
Hi there, is the information you're referring to supposed to be in the Evacuation of Yavin article? Corellian PremierJedi symbolThe Force will be with you always 20:52, January 10, 2013 (UTC)

X-Wing Tour of Duty #4 - Imperial Pursuit

OP 1: Evacuate Yavin

Farlander pilots an A-Wing(retcon R-22) Red 1 and escorts a group of five corvette called Cresent Group and group of four freighter Dobll. The freighters get knocked out early on by four assault gunboats then Imperial Nebulon B Frigate Red Wind shows up to launch tie fighters and bombers to deal with the corvettes. Farlander goes after the fighters and bombers and lets the corvettes deal with the gunship.

The second operation in the TOD has Farlander protecting DX-9 groups Leeo and Gort, shuttle group Chipr and BFF-1 freighter group Eo against ties and assault gunboats.

Rogue Leader version of the mission.

Hi.

Think we can make another article for the version where we play as Darth Vader and note it as non-canon in the Legends continuity? There's enough details to warrant an article anyways. And besides, it should be noted that that as well as the Battle of Yavin Imperial versions were apparently meant to be teasers for Star Wars: Dark Squadron if what Unseen64 uncovered is accurate. • There was a separate page, but we voted to delete it some time ago and merge it into this one. I just don't think there's enough separate information for it. (PS: The RS II Player's Guide confirms that it is sort of an Infinities non-canon thing). Corellian PremierJedi symbolThe Force will be with you always 16:01, August 17, 2016 (UTC)
