Why is this considered fanon?
I am requesting clarification on why this article has been marked for deletion as fanon.
The atmosphere containment projector is a **canon** *Star Wars* technology that appears on-screen in official material:
- **A New Hope**: The Millennium Falcon flies through one to enter Docking Bay 327. - **The Mandalorian, Chapter 16**: A stormtrooper falls through one into space.
These examples confirm that this is **not** fan fiction, but rather an established *Star Wars* technology. If the issue is the naming, I’m open to renaming the article if an official source provides a different term. However, the technology itself is clearly part of the franchise.
Could you clarify why this was labeled as fanon? If there’s another guideline I’ve overlooked, I’d appreciate guidance rather than deletion.

- Is there a source for this name? If there is, or perhaps a different name for the tech then we can for sure note it on the page as such Lewisr (talk) 18:21, 23 March 2025 (UTC)

- Thanks for providing that, I cleaned up the page and removed the delete tag. In future, please be sure to add the source when you make the page, I imagine the tag was added because no source for the name itself was provided Lewisr (talk) 20:09, 23 March 2025 (UTC)
- I've expanded this a bit with an infobox, image, and a few other appearances. Given that this technology is seen in pretty much any hangar in Star Wars, I've also added the incomplete list template to the Appearances since it and Sources could use a lot of expansion. Thanks for making this article - great start! - Brandon Rhea(talk)(he/him/his) 20:53, 23 March 2025 (UTC)
