I know that we normally don't make articles about individual lightsabers (and with good reason) but I think that this one warrants an exemption to the rules. It's not so much a lightsaber as a religious artifact to the Yuuzhan Vong. -- SFH 17:14, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

    • What's wrong with lightsaber articles anyway? They're individual objects; it's not as if they're all the same design or anything. We have articles on the various lightsaber crystals, so why not the weapons themselves? - Kwenn 18:00, 17 August 2006 (UTC)

Well I made the article because I thought it was more significant than anyother lightsaber and was more than a weapon. Since I made this article I obviously would like it to stay but it isnt up to me i guess. MandalorianOrdo54

• • we need a reason more than because its importent, i mean Luke's saber is importent, it defeated Sith lords etc, does that mean it deserves its own article, does Plo Koon's fighter? I think this needs to be merged Jedi Dude 20:52, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
    • Nope. Again, they're individual objects. I noticed an Emperor Palpatine's personal shuttle article just now, so if that, why not this? In fact, this article is really no different to articles on named vessels, of which we have plenty - Kwenn 21:22, 17 August 2006 (UTC)

What is so wrong with it though? yea maybe other articles about specific weapons will come up but you tell me MandalorianOrdo54

If I may chime in on the merging topic, it was mentioned that the lightsaber was seen as sort of a religious artifact to the Vong but I didn't get any sense of that from reading the article itself, now the problem arises that by expanding this article to explain that Anakin's lightsaber is indeed an important artifact we would need to explain how Anakin the person became so important to the Vong themselves, and of course that should all ready be covered in Anakin Solo's main article. So for the sake of ease and flow as well as making sure there isn't a massive amount of repeated information, I really think this article would do well to be placed within Anakin's main article. • • And Plo Koon's fighter was merged with Plo Koon, im not saying delete this, place it in Anakin's article. Imagine the amount of articles created without point if we created an article for everything, all those lightsabers, ships, everything, its pointless.
