First Lightsaber?
If this is Anakin's first lightsaber why then did he say not again, Obi-Wan's going to kill me after this one was distroyed in the droid factury? —Unsigned comment by JMasterWor (talk • contribs)
i suppose it would go some of the distance to explaining this seeming canon contradiction if anakin had, in combat situations, accidentally lost or destroyed other lightsabers that he was using but had not constructed himself--as was the case during the battle on geonosis at the conclusion of episode ii, though he didn't lose or destroy it. if this were the case obi wan might well have chided anakin for being careless with a lightsaber not his own, as he had about being careful with his own laser sword. though, jedi are not exactly quick to loan their lightsaber thoughtlessly to another, even another jedi. it's hard to say...and my theory is pure conjecture. it is also possible, i suppose, that anakin might have been considering his numerously losing and dropping his lightsaber only to have it later returned to him after being recovered by obi wan as the reason obi wan would be especially irritated at the lightsabers eventual, ignominious end--as in the chase to capture zam wesell in episode ii.--Kraytdragonkiller 01:18, December 10, 2009 (UTC)
Similarities with Vader’s Lightsabers
I think it show be noted that Anakin's first lightsaber bear a striking resemblance to the ones he later used a Vader. --JMasterWor 19:11, August 10, 2010 (UTC)
Color of the blade
In the movies, the lightsaber is clearly green and not blue. It is only his second lightsaber that is blue but not the first. Stop uploading the wrong information if you don't know the facts. --Breadfrenzy (talk) 23:24, June 9, 2014 (UTC)
- Just so you learn when you come back from your ban: the green-bladed saber you keep referring to does exist, but it's just one of the sabers Anakin borrowed from another Jedi in the arena WELL AFTER his original blue-bladed one was cut in half by the droid factory machinery on Geonosis. If you look at 1:43 in the very video you directed us to, you'll see that the green saber Anakin held in that scene looks nothing like "Anakin's first lightsaber," it's a completely different model. As you can see, we do know the facts. --Lelal Mekha

Canon
I request Anakin's first lightsaber be giving a canon version page to keep with continuity —Unsigned comment by 174.124.49.52 (talk • contribs)
I'll write a cannon version when I get home from school tommorrow but I don't really now what information I have on it. Other than it was his first Lightsaber, and that he used a green crystal insured of the blue one he had to use later as a guardian —Unsigned comment by 66.87.116.200 (talk • contribs)
- I think the reason one hasn't been made is that there is no indication that (in canon) whether or not this is his first lightsaber, so there is no canon encyclopedic source for it or what to call it. Where as on the other hand, the lightsaber we all know from Episode III, The Clone Wars and Episode IV/V (with Luke) was given the canon name Anakin/Luke's lightsaber in Ultimate Star Wars. No, no, no, no. When Anakin says "Not again. Obi-Wan's gonna kill me" is clearly a reference to how Anakin lost it in the beginning of the movie and how Obi-Wan caught it in that speeder and gave it back to him. This was obviously his first lightsaber.
