- "That's how the Tagra-Tel came to conclude that the Oridol Cluster was alive. Not a god, but a vast, organic thing of dust and gas an energy, with a brain of starlight and crystal limbs."
- ―Palal Seedia, to Wyl Lark
The Tagra-Tel were a culture descended from the Tangrada-Nii near the Oridol Cluster. While their ancestors believed the star cluster was a god, the Tagra-Tel sent starships into the cluster over a number of centuries, and instead came to believe that it was a living creature after experiencing paranormal activity. Some weeks after the Battle of Endor[1] in 4 ABY,[2] Palal Seedia, a pilot in the Galactic Empire's 204th Imperial Fighter Wing, told the New Republic pilot Wyl Lark about the Tagra-Tel's endeavours with the Oridol Cluster, over a comm channel while both pilots were in the star cluster itself.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Tagra-Tel were mentioned in the 2019 novel Alphabet Squadron, written by Alexander Freed.[1]
