Tagata was a farming village on the planet Felucia, which was the site of an engagement between the Galactic Republic and Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars.[1]
As Separatist forces completed their invasion of the planet, clone troopers defended the village while evacuating the villagers and a cache of valuable medicinal plants onto Republic transports.[2]
Nearby the village was a swamp, a dead sarlacc whose pit had filled with water, and a network of caves.[2]
