The TR-62 Autocushion Tripod was first mentioned in The Essential Guide to Weapons and Technology, a Star Wars Legends reference book released on November 4, 1997.[2] The TR-62 Autocushion Tripod was first mentioned in the new Star Wars canon in "Blasters and Ranged Weapons," a reference book published exclusively in France by Altaya on February 23, 2021.[1]
