TK-289 was a human stormtrooper in the Galactic Empire's Stormtrooper Corps who held the rank of lieutenant. TK-289 wore standard stormtrooper armor with a black pauldron and carried an E-11 blaster rifle. During the Galactic Civil War, TK-289 served under the Sith Lord Darth Vader.[2]

Behind the scenes

TK-289 was first mentioned in the description for the 2024 Fear and Dead Men Squad Pack, a release for the tabletop strategy skirmish game Star Wars: Shatterpoint published by Atomic Mass Games. TK-289 appeared alongside Darth Vader and two other stormtroopers.[2] TK-289's card identifies them as a stormtrooper sergeant.[3] Their painted model on Atomic Mass Games' website depicts TK-289 with an orange pauldron instead of the black seen in official artwork.[2]
