Sybar was a crime lord active on the planet Brentaal IV during the Rebellion era.[1] He[2] fought for control over the underworld life at Votrad Independent Downport in the city of Votrad.[1]
Members of Sybar's criminal syndicate avoided a law enforcement ambush and holed up in a debris field, and were believed to be setting traps, retrieving caches of weapons and supplies, and/or recruiting local scavengers while awaiting Sybar's transport. It was believed that if these fugitives were not apprehended before their rescue, Sybar's syndicate would reestablish its foothold in the nearby starport and Sybar would seek revenge on those who rooted them out.[2]
