The Supreme Strategist was a high-ranking official of Mandalore and a Clan Chieftain. He was of an unknown species, and commanded a Keldabe-class cruiser. Some time before the Battle of Yavin, Tyber Zann's fledgling organization managed to commit piracy above Mandalore by kidnapping the Supreme Strategist. He was fought to the death, destroying the five squadrons of V-wing starfighters that had been sent ahead and destroying or disabling all of the escort vessels.
