Sun-dew flowers were a type of flower that had firm stems and resilient petals—qualities that helped the blooms not wilt. On[1] the Core Worlds[2] planet Chandrila, the flowers were cultivated in a greenhouse within the world's capital, Hanna City. Captain Wedge Antilles felt that sun-dew flowers had a pleasant scent.[1]
In 5 ABY,[3] Antilles purchased six sun-dew flowers from the Hanna City greenhouse, opting for a smaller bouquet instead of a large, colorful bundle. Afterward, the captain brought the bouquet to a landing pad, intending to gift the blooms to the pilot Norra Wexley, a colleague he had feelings for, upon her return to Chandrila. However, Antilles ultimately decided against doing so upon noticing that Wexley's husband, Brentin Wexley, had also arrived on the world with her after having been rescued from an extended Imperial incarceration on the planet Kashyyyk.[1]
