The Sun-Lamas were learned masters and keepers of Polynean tradition. On Polyneus, children studied under the Sun-Lamas in communal homes. During the Imperial occupation of Polyneus, the Sun-Lamas of the Peak were in contact with Senator Mothma of the Rebel Alliance.^[1]
