The Sullustan Home Guard was a Commerce Guild sector defense force employed within the organization's Punitive Security Forces[1] by 22 BBY.[2] Alongside one of its officers, Sullustan Admiral Dua Ningo, the home guard was charged with defending[1] the Outer Rim Territories[3] Brema sector, as well as the interests of SoroSuub Corporation across the galaxy. Prior to the outbreak of Clone Wars,[1] fought between 22 BBY and 19 BBY,[2] against the Galactic Republic and Confederacy of Independent Systems, the Commerce Guild had become allied with the Separatists, incorporating the Sullustan Home Guard into its naval branch during the war. Under the Confederacy's command, Admiral Ningo became a stalwart officer for the Separatists as he and the home guard continued their protection of the Brema sector and SoroSuub's corporate interests.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Sullustan Home Guard was introduced in the current Star Wars canon in Rise of the Separatists, published by Fantasy Flight Games in 2019 for their series of Star Wars Roleplaying products.[1] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the Sullustan Home Guard was introduced in the Dark Empire Sourcebook, a 1993 supplement to Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game published by West End Games.[4]
