The Sub-70 ice mines were a set of ice mines located on the Outer Rim Territories planet Bandomeer. The mines were so-named because they were all located south of seventy degrees of latitude, near the planet's ice caps. The mines were formerlly owned by South Bandomeer Consalidated and had a reputation for being a deadly work environment. Though the mining was difficult, it was not as dangerous as the mines' reputation suggested.[1]
