Stun filaments lined the interior of stuncuffs, and were capable of delivering paralyzing energy jolts to the wearer. Triggered by a remote control unit, the stun filaments could be set to a variety of intensity levels. Lower-power settings would cause the prisoner pain, while a high-power setting could render the prisoner unconscious.[1]
